Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If Shump is playing below his capabilities because of JRs contract, then I don't see that changing. He'd have to be moved.

You had the worst +/- on the team, Iman.

As redblack just stated above, even when the team was up 26, you were still minus. How is that even possible, Iman?
By far teams worst +/-

He'll have a good game at some point in the playoffs and we'll get a ton of "see, you can't trade him. STILL YOUNG!"

But we've messed up this whole last year not moving him. If a team will just take him off of our hands in a straight salary dump and give us a second round pick back I'd do it. Get the 10 million off the books.

IF he isn't going to play, we are also going to tank his value at the same time. He is a goner but we are not going to get much in return..
It was a perfect time to trade him at the deadline for 2 early 2nd round picks in this stacked draft or a late 1st round pick if we were lucky.

Shump better stick to rapping because I don't see him getting any playing time in the playoffs.

Yup. Maybe there's a team who will give up late first rounder.

What value? Shumpert couldn't tank his value any further. Keeping him off the court might actually increase his value for GMs with short term amnesia.

He had decent value at the deadline.. now he has none. IT can't get any lower and he has a reputation of some kind of a playoffs performer, eventhough it only happened in 2014-2015.

It just sucks though.

I think they tried pretty hard to deal him, but no one wanted him.

He's gone, and I can't wait. So tired of him.

I don't mind them aiming high, but if he's legit completely out of the rotation, then holding out for someone of the caliber of Beverly was stupid. Try it, when they say no, settle for something else.

But man if people didn't get screamed at for daring suggest we trade Shumpert for a Darren Collison (lol, like the Kings would) or Kosta Koufus sorta player.

I wonder if his knee soreness that kept him out a couple games played into his poor play. I think we will need him at some point in the playoffs. The Pacers guards aren't particular a force that you need both Shump and JR to play high level defense to keep them in check.

I am probably being overly optimistic but hopefully this DNPCD lit a fire under his ass and he has a self-realization of sorts. If we somehow can get Shump back to playing like he did in 2015 Playoffs, it would be massive!
