Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Makes sense he wants out. And I think there's a good chance he will end up gone.

He, Kyrie and McRae seemed like a clique. With Kyrie and McRae gone, I'm sure Shumpert is feeling a bit left out.

I hope he goes. We do need someone who can guard point guards, but I think Shumpert and his attitude leaving will be a bonus for the team.

I dont understand the hate toward Shump.

I get trading him, I dont think he is the defensive stopper we was supposed to be, but he hanst done anything that deserves hate.

I am still hoping we can get koufos for Shump plus filler, but we shall see.

the only thing that worries me about this report is just how bad the lockerroom might be.

I mean, Irving asking to get traded and Shumpert a year after instagram Vegas parties. If you step back, you also get all the weird ups and downs and general lethargic play in the regular season and in some of the playoffs, the front office turnover, all the James leaving reports (yeah, I know, par for the course on that one), the rumors of Butler being told not to come here.

From a basketball standpoint, Shumpert is clearly expendable. His decision making and streaky play leaves a ton to be desired. I just worry that the question right now is: who on the Cavs has his teammates back?
There were some reports or comments from unknown players about the temperament of the locker room..that were some players who were not all in ..now it's coming out.
I'm a little surprised Shump requested a trade..but maybe this is all due to the cryptic stuff Lebron does.

Hate may not be the right word. Maybe a better analogy is Shump was like dating a girl who gives you a blowjob all the time and then you marry her and it stops happening altogether.

Shump played his a&& off in the 2015 playoffs. His effort and contributions netted him a ridiculous 4 year 40 million dollar contract.

Once he signed his big money deal, he basically stopped trying.

You could live with the bone headed plays when he was playing with all that hustle and energy, but once the hustle and energy was gone, all that was left was the boneheaded plays.

What's holding this Shump trade up? Will Frito-Lay not up the Doritos to a party size?

Would like to trade Shump for Garrett Temple - good defender.
Or Shump & Frye for Dieng.

Would anyone oppose a three-team trade involving Cleveland, Minnesota, and Portland? Minnesota gets Shump, we get Harkless, and... I haven't thought much beyond that.

I don't know why Portland would do that. Harkless is on a pretty good deal.

If there's any other members of this little group, might as well handle them now as well.

I have it on good authority that Paul George was part of this little group, which is why we ultimately didn't trade for him.
