Yeah, almost no way you're going to get a 16+ gig iPhone 3g or 3gs for anywhere under $300. You might be able to get an 8 gig 3g for $250, but it wouldn't even be in good condition. And a 3gs for $225? Not a chance, even if you go up a bill. Not realistic.

I am with ATT but they wont let me upgrade to the Iphone for the $199 and i dont want to spend $400 for it. Craigslist sometimes has some for around $200. One time i was talking to somebody from Craigslist that was selling a 3g 32gb for $250 but he sold it before i replied to his email. Lets just say i was utterly pi$$ed.

Yeah, I guess every now and then you'll get a person that doesn't know what they are doing..

I mean, you should be able to opt out of your contract, that's like $175, then re-sign up and you can get the old 3g ones for like $50-$100.. Thats $300-400. Brand new is better than used.

Probably not....I'm interesting in the 3Gs....and if I can sell my launch iphone for around $200 that's what I'd probably do. 8GB is too small for me, 16 is better, but 32 would be sweet. Thanks though.

By the way the 3G 8b new is $99.99 I think.

Really? I have ATT, and although my contract is up, I went to apple.com and pre-signed up (whatever that means) for a 3Gs and I'm pretty sure they said I would have to pay like $599.99 for one....but I think that was because my last bill was late or I hadn't paid it yet....I dunno.

ATT sucks....I'd rather have Verizon. I'd be interested in getting a droid....but I'm so used to the iphone.

Nah...no reserve. I just listed it. posted the link on my facebook and prayed for the best.

Some kid from the Ukraine ended up buying my original 8gb.


And even if you hack a phone, how can you get it on Verizon??? It's a sim card phone. That doesnt sound possible.

i just bought an 8gig 3G for 260 from ebay. Glass is good (minor wear, and nothing that can be seen when the screen is lit) and back is amazing. I think i may have just gotten lucky
