Here's what Fred McLeod wrote on his blog tonight about Kinsey's condition:

Some good news regarding Tarence Kinsey, as X-rays proved negative on his twisted right ankle. He'll receive further evaluation in Cleveland. It's too early to speculate how long he'll be out. The innocent looking play halted his improved play of late...

I'm sure they'll still have to run an MRI tomorrow to find out more.

Sorry PIP... but little annoys me more than watching a guy hurt himself when there isn't even any contact on a play. Athletes who do that should be playing baseball where pulling your hamstring jogging to first base or pulling your groin flailing at a pitch is seemingly the time honored method of letting your coach know you'd like a little time off.

Yeah, no time to celebrate for Kinsey yet. The MRI is key.

But if X-rays had pointed out a problem (broken bone, bone chip, etc.), that could also be a major issue.

For Z, neither X-rays nor the MRI showed the bone chip initially (as you know). So his was a pretty special case until they went back to get them both done again when things weren't healing.

Can he hit the 3 consistently? That's really all you need if your a wing to play next to Lebron. Look at freakin Boobie my god was he bad most of the game both on offense and defense last night till the last 2 minutes of the game. If he can hit an open jumper, Kinsey should get more time with that kind of competition.

Agreed. Boobie has been awful for the most part lately, and atleast Kinsey brings more energy and defense to the game.
