Isaiah Crowell, UDFA/Social Media Pioneer

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dude, they're both referencing Edgar Allen Poe.

But that's neither here nor there.

Positive: He's a UDFA that's playing exceptionally well. He sees the holes well in the zone blocking scheme and hits them at full speed. He's not a dancer. He just goes.

Negatives: The three fumbles las week. Yes, those pitches could have been better placed but an NFL RB should be able to snag those.

Eh he is a rookies, gotta expect some bumps. That's why it's nice we have the luxury of three backs fighting for carries,
Motivates him hopefully to nip
The fumbling problem

Lmao how you gonna rate my post dumb, the theme song is Raven (90's wrestler). And he always said that. I was just trying to see if anyone caught on.

Raven never talked about a crow, but a raven. Would have made more sense to have Sting up there, who was 'crow' sting.

Well if Bruce Hooley is demanding it...

Seriously though, moronic stuff all around.

Just a moronic post by Crowell. I understand the heat of the moment, the emotions. But God damn, you gotta be smarter than that. This could easily cost the man his career. WTF was he thinking...............

Fuck that guy, promoting more violence in response to violence is plain stupid

Lol hey don't snark the messenger... I had no clue this even happened until I got in the car on my way home from work and the way Hooley was reacting you would've thought Crowell actually reenacted the image himself. He was a little over the top, IMO.

Yes, it's a fucked up image and even in the heat of the moment it was in very poor taste and Crowell should clearly know better. However, I'm not a fan of a media member, who has influence, trying to cut off someone's livelihood over an emotional response just because he personally takes offense to it.

Fine him, give him community service to help repair his image, etc. But I think cutting him is a little extreme. Probably in the minority on this one, but as a human being that's made emotional mistakes of my own (granted not of this magnitude)... I don't want to wish a persons life ruined over the same.

I think all athletes should stay off Twitter, but really dont know the whole story.

Maybe someone posted it to his account and he re-tweeted by accident? Maybe he was looking at it and didnt mean to tweet it?

Who know, but love how local media is so easy to jump to a conclusion.

Agree with you there. The risk with social media far outweighs the reward for these athletes/celebs. He immediately deleted it and apologized for it, so it wasn't an accident I don't think. But yeah it pisses me off local media (hooley) jumps to a conclusion and wants to run him out of town, but yet said "we need due process" in regard to the 2 officers who killed African Americans in cold blood last week. I mean, I saw the videos.. There isn't much else to say

Cut his ass. Browns are cleaning shop and cutting the fat anyway. Here is their 2nd easiest decision (1st being manziel).

Wouldn't the 2nd easiest be Gilbert or Gordon? What Crowell said was no doubt beyond stupid, but should one post cancel out everything a guy has worked to achieve? We have guys on this team that have done much worse in all honestly, over and over again. If one slip up determined if I keep or lose my job, I'd be in trouble

I was wondering when this team would pop back in the news. Like clockwork...

I'm sure Hue will have a nice talking with him and get this straightened out. It will be non news in about 4 days.
