J.J. Hickson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sometimes it is the right thing to do, to take a dribble after an offensive rebound. Shaq did that once last game. He just needs to know when to dribble and when to go up strong.

JJ just tweeted after reading this thread: Ungrateful bastards!

Ungrateful? For what? If he helped us win a title, then maybe we could be called ungrateful. But he hasn't accomplished dick. Period. He sucks dick.

Thank God he's played just good enough to place on a trading hook with Boobie -- the two of them together, combined with Z's contract make some real nice trade bait...now we just have to be patient enough to land the big one.

I'm a huge CDR fan, and JJ reminds me of amare....but he's never gonna be him. He can't even remeber to get donuts, let alone become a dominate PF.

I think it's still too early to know what JJ will turn out to be in the NBA. He'd still be a junior in college if he hadn't come out (which was what everyone was saying about him at the time, that he wasn't ready to come out yet). It's clear he's not ready to be a quality starter for a championship-caliber team. However, I think he's shown enough potential that he could still be an All-Star talent in this league if he gets into the right situation. The thing is, it's probably not going to be with this team. And in this important season, we need a different piece at the 4 than what JJ offers us. Who that piece will turn out to be....is what makes it so exciting in the next 6 weeks.

CDR=Ricky Davis 2.0.

I'm glad we have nothing to do with him.

JJ Hickson = stromile swift with less jumping ability.

Hickson can't be fairly judged until he has a full off-season of development without injury where he can work on his body, and on his game. Hopefully that happens this coming summer.

What I've seen is a young player that was given an opportunity of a lifetime this season. One that I and everyone around him have told him to appreciate for what it was, and do all he can do to sieze the opportunity, and make the biggest impact and impresion that he could.

Unfortunately, what I've seen on too many occassions is a player that simply hasn't siezed the opportunity. Hasn't displayed the hunger and passion to sieze the opportunity, and become the best version of JJ Hickson that he could be at this juncture of his young career.

I've been dissapointed by him, and the day to day effort and drive he's brought to the table.

I hope he turns out to be the player that he can be someday, but it might take a hard reality check before he realizes it, if he ever does. With alot of young kids they don;t realize the opportunity that they had, until it's gone.

He'll be a part of lots of trade conversations in the coming weeks....

Can't say I'm surprised... Hope it turns out the best for the Cavs, because this isn't the time to be another Drew Gooden... So I don't care if he gets it or not, just the team in general.

One positive to take away from today's Cavs game? I'm positive JJ Hickson won't be starting for the Cavs come February 18th at 3pm.

I know you're being sarcastic while trying to cover your ass for lying about who said that.
