what? its not MY theory.. it was just something that i read that caught my attention. not saying i believe it.

Okay cool, let's just leave it at that.

ANYWAYS (back on topic): Can't wait to see Jack playing for us this year. Wonder what number he'll wear since Kyrie is #2?

Cannot confirm with a source, but I am almost positive he will be wearing #1.

Seeing Jack sport #1 will make it that much easier to forget that Daniel Gibson ever played for the Cavs.

Boobie launching threes against Detroit in 07 got us into the NBA Finals. That's not something I'm going to forget easily.

We went to the Finals in '07?

name them.

Of last years PG's:

Ray Felton
Mo Williams
Steve Nash
Jose Calderon
Mario Chalmers
Jeremy Lin
Kemba Walker
Goran Dragic
Isiah Thomas
Darren Collison
Kirk Heinrich
George Hill

To be honest, Indiana likely takes series against Miami if it had Jarrett Jack in some capacity last year.

Jarrett is a killer and a clutch time player. Guy isn't afraid of anything (taking the big shot, defending out of position, late free throws). The guy was EASILY the second best player on Golden State in the playoffs. GSW fans are horrified of Toney Douglas stepping into that role next year.

The Cavs have, hands down, the best back-up PG in the league. It isn't even close.

Agree, and I think this will be the case for his whole deal, unless some starting PG gets traded to a team with an all-star or CJ McCullom is the 2nd coming of Damian Lillard.

With Bledsoe out of LA (it still feels weird saying LA and meaning the Clippers), you could say we have the best PG rotation in the league.

McCollum is going to play beside Lillard in the Blazers backcourt. I think they'll be quite a pairing too.

Yeah you're probably right. Looks like that's the number he wore for the first three teams he played for.

He tweeted that he will probably be #1

Meh, I wish Kyrie would take his #1 back but Boobie screwed that over.

Kinda cool our top 3 guards #s are 1,2,3.

I don't know if you guys have taken a look at Jack's advanced stats. They were really spectacular last season.

First shooting: He finished #30 overall in the NBA in 3 point percentage at .404 and had a very strong .499 adjusted field goal percentage. His field goal percentage overall was .466, which are great numbers for a shooting guard. He only scored 12.9 points per game, but he scored efficiently.

What separates Jack isn't the solid shooting numbers, by his upper echelon ball handling stats. In total assists, only 21 players in the NBA had more last season. He was tied for 17th in the NBA in his assist rate per 48 with Lin and Prigioni. In assist to turnover rate, he was tied for 13th overall. In short, he put up efficiency statistics on par with the top 20 among important scoring and facilitating players in the NBA as a third guard.
