Joe "Captain America" Harris

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Joe Harris sent to D League today.
But who takes his place? Have CAVS been sandbagging on Kyrie?

Why does anyone have to take his place? They probably sent him to Canton so he can get some action on the floor for a few games. He hasn't been close to making the Cavs rotation, and he's even less likely to see minutes now that JR is back.

I feel Joe Harris's full contribution to the team is not appreciated around here.

If we win the championship, we need our Mark Madsen.

You're right and cavs going on the road. He would be a DNP anyways.

Makes sense. For the Cavs, it really comes down to Cunningham vs. Harris, because (1) they don't want to have to pay luxury tax on both of those guys, and (2) they want that 15th spot open, just in case they want to pick up somebody later in the season. Cunningham has played his way into the Cavs' rotation, while Harris is in Canton, so it's pretty clear which one will go.

I'm expecting a January 9 trade of Harris for some future heavily-protected second-rounder.

Can you really “shop” a guy that’s getting zero NBA minutes?

The sixers would require a first born child and the ability to swap kidneys. They exist right now to hoard assets that they can in turn completely fuck up.

Even if they are getting a good deal they insist on putting you back over the barrel to demand more.

joey ballgame is going, going, gone, means they want to keep cunny around

Lloyd wrote a piece on Harris today:

Conversely, he is only 24 and making less than $1 million. A team obtaining him would hold a team option for next season (also for less than $1 million), meaning he is owed no guaranteed money beyond this season and shouldn’t be hard to trade at the deadline, even if it’s for a paper second-round pick the Cavs will never actually see in a money dump.

They haven’t explored that option, however, and would like to recoup a second rounder for Harris considering they realistically won’t have one until 2019 — and it’s their only one until 2021.

I would be amazed if philly doesnt use one of its million 2nd rounders on him as hes got some NBA experience so will integrate into the locker room easily. Sooner or later you need some older guys from winning teams even if you dont want to pay the ones that can play
