Jordan McRae

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No I want it to be a fairy tale where ESPN has to rewrite their 30 for 30 on Cleveland coming out in April to include Mcrae blocking a Curry three to secure a finals victory. Skrew Lester Hudson, he cost us some ping pong balls with those worthless wins.

Who the fuck is Jordan McRae

Everybody can laugh. But I'll say this: Mo has a bad knee. Shump is fragile. This guy is athletic, and can throw his body around. This can be his chance in the spotlight.
Jeremy Lin is a rich man because he got a chance. Delly will be a rich man with his next contract because he got a chance.
Good luck, Jordan.

Even though he was traded on draft night to the 76's, he was originally drafted by the Spurs and they seem to know how to find talent. He looks like he will fill in Mo's role which is to sit court side. He has talent though, hope he actually does good with us.

This guy will fit right in with the Cavs. Against the Maine Red Claws, his team had a nice lead the entire game, but then they blew it in the 4th quarter.

People scoffed at Hassan Whiteside too... Worth a shot
That irks me like crazy. I paid alot of attention to the 2010 (I think that was it) draft when he came out. The kid showed a lot of talent and everyone said he was raw and 3 years away from contributing. Sacramento did a poor job with him and he hit rock bottom. He still has mental issues but all it took was a swift kick in the ass to get him going by Pat Riley. It's a damn shame a team that hasn't had a decent legitimate center since 2010 failed to kick the tires on him.

With the way Chumpert is currently playing I wouldn't be surprised if this guy contributes more.

For whatever reason, the Cavs have consistently been one of the worst teams in the league for talent scouting. It's a miracle that they managed to undo the Dion Butters/Bennett debacles (especially Dion). There are people who don't get paid a salary, that do this for FUN... that do it better than the Cavs have done.

When they don't luck out with the #1 pick in a good draft, this is what they do. Hopefully McRae could be an exception, but I'm not expecting much.

The Cavs could certainly use a "Whiteside" in their ranks. Just someone who gives the other team a big fat "NO" defensively.

It was kind of funny watching the Heat fans rally behind him in their loss to Golden State, too.

Welcome to my nightmare.

Nearly a decade of futility.

At this point, the only thing that can change this, is an ownership change because we've been pretty awful at scouting/development since the Danny Ferry days.

Delly being the exception that proves the rule.

Come on man...I know being negative is your forte, but Griff has actually done pretty well for himself in his 2 drafts IMO.

1. Andrew Wiggins over Parker and Embiid (hit)
2. Joe Harris (miss, but look at the names taken after him...Jordan Clarkson is really it for the better alternatives up to this point)
3. Acquiring the rights to Dwight Powell (hit...arguably been the best value pick in that entire draft, just couldn't keep him around when we needed to clear cap for LBJ and Love)
4. Rakeem Christmas (TBD, though not on the Cavs watch)
5. Cedi Osman (TBD, but is one of the best young foreign players out there right now)
6. Sir'Dom Pointer (TBD)

Too early to know how his 2nd round picks from this year pan out, obviously, but I think he did very well for himself in 2014, seeing as how we know a little more about those players now.

And I also think his UDFA finding in Quinn Cook, who I have mentioned a few times will be on the Cavs next season, is going to be a hit as well.
