Jose Calderon signs with Pistons

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Couldn't they just find a little patch of land off to the side for him to defend on his own ???

(just don't turn around)

I remember the 1st to years of kyrie in the nba he had a hard time scoring against calderon.. He was the kyrie stopper back then.. I hope he can do the same against curry now, well thats wishful thinking..

Jamón ibérico :pig:

Try Adega in the 9. Its fantastic

World's Greatest Jamón (appetiser)
Jamón Ibérico, Aged Manchego, Tomato Confit, EVOO & Ciabatta
Iberico Pork
Secreto Ibérico, Catalan Patatas Bravas, Arugula, Tomato & Pecorino Romano

I know this won't get much agreement in here but the one thing I hold out hope on is that post 30, when Jose played on talented teams with winning records he did really well(high 2P and 3p FG%, high assist numbers)

I think he could actually do what we need him to do(in the regular season) for 8-12 mpg

We need a PG who can play defense though, not a guy with a pending order for Life Alert.

I thought the same things when I heard we signed him. Simply don't turnover the ball, and be ready to spot up for 10 MPG. Its not like he's going to handle the ball a ton.

It's imperative that we have a PG who can play defense though, not a guy with a pending order for Life Alert.
I don't know. If that guy doesn't play in the Finals, how imperative is it?

Like if we had a good defensive PG, are we really going to slide Kyrie to SG for heavy minutes against the much longer Warriors?

Again, I would have much rather we refrained from signing Calderon, but I just think there is the possibility he won't be as bad as we assume.

And is Calderon any more approaching Life Alert status than David West? Meaning, do we know his bad recent years have anything to do with his age or simply a byproduct of playing on awful teams

I think it would be more to make sure the lead doesn't get totally destroyed. Anyone coming in behind LeBron, Kyrie or Love essentially needs to be a temporary bandaid. As long as the lead or deficit stays the same, it's okay but we need to get those guys (especially LeBron) rest without having to feel like they need to rush back in. I still kind of hoped we'd use Deron as our vet PG as opposed to Jose because if we got him for cheap then signed someone who is slightly younger and played or was capable of playing defense it would be a really good 1-2-3 for the point guard spot depending on what we need. Unfortunately Kyrie regressed on the defensive end so it would be nice to have a guy play the Delly role behind Kyrie.

He looks like that guy from work who you go to a game with, thinking he's a fan but when you arrive to your seats, he has no idea who's on the team, how the rules work, or who we're playing. He's just heard of that "Lebron Johns guy."

At least he doesn't look like he enjoys food as much as Deron Williams. :dunno:
