"Just don't piss in my face"

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Speaking of pissing in someone's face, did you steal that signature from Rob?

I know I will regret this, but in the comments the referenced Mike Greenberg. What did that douche say?

Sometimes we just need to remind ourselves that some athletes didn't get to where they are because of their brain.

The assumption that "Most of Ohio and good people everywhere were rooting against Miami.", is one of the most erroneous things I've read. LeBron left 3 years ago. Yes, the Cavs4Mavs was enjoyable, but it got ridiculous with the OKCLE.

LeBron had a right to leave, albeit the way he did it was unnecessary. He was young, and has seemingly grown from this... minus the incessant flopping. I don't root against the Heat, but I really don't like D. Wade.

To sit here and tell athletes who they can and can't be fans of is ridiculous. It's like when you break up with someone, and you automatically assume that everyone within your circle hates that person. Don't speak of them, don't even speak to them... Because that's obviously the "mature" way to deal with it. People forget that free will is extended to everyone.

I'm not a LeBron fan, but I hardly hate him.... anymore. I wish that people would stop writing articles, year after "reminding" current athletes on why they should extend the hate for him.

Stay Classy!

You obviously didn't read the article. Or you didn't understand it.

I read the article. I know there are Browns players who were "trolling" and they fail to understand the "hate" and seem to just throw it in the fans of Cleveland fans faces. I'm over it. They can be fans. Lets see how they produce come football season.

Then you'd know the tone of the article was root for whoever you want, just be mature about it. Which doesn't seem to be a huge request.

This is why twitter is bad, for athletes.

Twitter is simply bad. Athletes using it or not. People suddenly check common sense at the door the minute they tweet. A lot like people driving and using cell phones. If Twitter suddenly went away, I would not miss it.

Because maturity is certainly applicable to todays various professional sports?

Has it really come to this--as individuals we can extend our opinion of how 'maturely' someone is supporting another team? If individuals are that sensitive about some various tweets--maybe you should not look at them?

I say, root for whoever you want/how you want as long as it does not infringe upon me in some physical way. I would say, in general, the sports fan(s) (all teams) need to take a step back and realize that all the forms of professional sports is for entertainment.
