Thought he wanted to win, NO is far from going to the promiseland
Yeah but what contending team wants him taking up a roster spot?

New Orleans has the fifth best chance to win the West next season according to Vegas.
As soon as they can rid themselves of Gordon's bad contract and can get a full healthy season from Jrue Holiday along with continued growth from Davis and Tyreke, I can see that team as a threat.
Eh not this year but next year I can see them in the Finals next year. Davis is bound to get and face off against LeBron. It makes sense from a NBA stand point. Young budding super star VS proven winner and best player. People think Curry is the next big thing. To me Davis is no matter what the media says.
Anthony Davis is the second best player in the league right now, in my opinion. After another year or two, I see him taking LeBron's spot as the top in the game. No disrespect to Steph Curry, Russell Westbrook, or Kevin Durant, but Davis is the supreme package.
Assuming Gordon is gone after next season, if they find a way to move Asik or Anderson, they'll have a max contract slot to try to pair somebody with Davis. Durant is a possibility, but I really can't see him in New Orleans.
Pairing a max player with Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, and Tyreke Evans is going to have players lining up to play in The Big Easy. I just pray he stays healthy. The league really hasn't seen an all around power forward come into the league like him since Garnett/Duncan, and I think he has a slight chance to be better than both of them.

Last year's Cavs, apparently...Yeah but what contending team wants him taking up a roster spot?
How can you be so washed up at age 29/30?
Amazing, really.
He blew out his knee with the Celtics in 2010. After that, the Celtics couldn't trade him fast enough. Perkins has never looked right after that injury.
