Chris Haynes made it clear that players didn't take it seriously; turnout was "low."

I don't think most NBA players want to vote for the ASG.

Recall what Draymond Green said? He totally blew off player voting.

I think this year was a cool experiment but it failed to fix the problem. I'd rather just have 100% fan voting with some kind of qualifiers to get on the ballot -- rather than having an open ballot for all NBA players.

Would fix the problem, IMHO..

Zaza would be a consistent all-star then tbh. :D

More interested in the coaches voting, since they pick the reserves. Cause if the coaches think like the players, Love won't make the team at all.
Not necessarily.

Coaches pick 3 more frontcourt players, 2 frontcourt players and 2 wild cards.

Thomas, Lowry, Embiid, Porzingas and PG would take the 1st 5 spots. Then 2 of Love, Wall and Kemba make it. Good chance Love would make it in that scenario.

That's why they call it the Player Hater's Ball I guess.

Coaches, you know what to do.

I'm...not so confident.

I'm going to pencil John Wall in. His team has turned it around and he's been great. He's in and he should be in.

To me, it's Porzingis that shouldn't be in. Frankly, Paul George probably shouldn't be either, but his team, like Wall's, has turned it around, and I can see the coaches wanting to give Indiana one all-star.

I could easily see the coaches making Love the odd man out there.

I just don't think he's respected around the league. By anyone. At all.
They'd also have to pick Porzingas AND PG ahead of him. I don't see how that happens.

Could you imaginge 100 percent fan created teams? That would be a sight to behold trolls would run amok and concoct weird Frankenstein teams that would be amazing to watch frankly.

It would be like When you want to make a crazy dumb team 2k

I know it didn't work out for us this time, but I think the players should keep voting. They have a perspective that virtually no one else has. Perhaps they just feel all the guys that were listed above Love were just flat out harder to play against. Tougher matchups.

No one else can bring that perspective. Leave it to the coaches to select based on other reasons.

Or maybe players purposely leave players off their ballot to help their teammates/friends make it...

I can't disagree with this.

I would multi-quote the fuck out of you but... you changed my mind.

Now I'm confused and don't know what to do.
