These are my thoughts... If a guy like Butler or George becomes available, then you consider moving Love. But right now? Nah man. Love is clearly injured (has been since the "food poisoning") and it is effecting his play. He'll get back to early-season Love soon enough. Not worried.

Butler or George? I wouldn't think twice, but Anthony is clearly decaying and he is getting more inefficient as time goes by, plus he is a mediocre to bad defender.

Unfortunately that 1 team is the Warriors and they're really the only team that matters because they're likely going to be in the Finals every year for the remainder of our title window. Love just can't match up against them. Not that Melo is a great defender, but hed do a better job on Klay, KD, Iguodala, or Green than Love would.

I agree that melo is a better matchup than Love but if we truly put love on the trade block im sure we could get a much better player than melo who could also matchup against the Warriors.

So I'm not sure the Anthony defense is really working.

The thing with Anthony is this: If the Knicks had the option to Amnesty Anthony right now - would they do it?

I'm not sure, but the answer might be yes -- it would open them up to rebuilding their franchise much quicker.

That means Anthony is likely a bad contract.
