Gotta say...the limited bobble given out last night is one of the top ones they've done. Too bad the only one listed right now is 1k

It's Love coming off the plane the morning after, both wrestling belts, championship hat, shirt with Love 2:16 (Copyright reasons)

Edit: Found the pic

Scopedog is right above...at the beginning of this season we didn't get fat Love or skinny Love, we got muscular Love, and it was great.

Hoping he hasn't lost that conditioning between the food poisoning and the injury.

In last year's playoffs he wasn't always effective inside, he had a horrible field goal percentage in the paint (like 35% from 0-3 feet, crazy low). His rebounding numbers dropped from the regular season too. He made up for it with some good 3 point shooting, but if we play GS this year then it will be a significant help to have him effective on the interior since they are so weak there.

I don't want to argue with you too much. I rather keep my friendship with the few people that give me likes from time to time.. to balance that Post/Like ratio.
I'll go to war against Bimbo though.

Anyways, I think Love just takes more wide open 3's as a Cav and his 3pt% right after he first broke out has been pretty consistent throughout his career hovering at around .37%. Other than his injury year and the season he shot the 3 ball at .417%
I would expect Love to shoot around .40% with the amount of open looks he gets with this team tbh.

As for the Fat Love debate, I really think he lost that weight because he wanted to look better and there is nothing wrong with that.
I don't think it was mainly a basketball decision and if I were famous and started to become self concious about my looks I would lose that weight and never look back.

Love helps us on the defensive end because of his rebounds, not because of his PnR defense.. I think his 15 RPG > his 12.5 RPG impact wise, even with his improvement in PnR defense.
But, I don't know the % of his uncontensed rebounds so I can't really know for sure.

On offense I think i'll definitely take Fat Love because he would abuse Durant in the post. Right now, Kevin has problems backing down his man. He never had a very refined post game so his brute strength was something else. Even if he missed the shot he would often rebound his miss. Kevin tends to miss a lot of point blank shots, his FG% around the rim was much better back then and it's sometimes frustrating watching an all-star big man miss easy shots.

But to make my point clearer, I was generally talking about Love in Minnesota and that included his 2013-2014 which was his best season. His advanced numbers were insane back then. I don't think he could replicate that even if you put him on a team similar to Minnesota where he can be the number 1 option.

I would add that he was probably trying to preempt knee issues later in his career by shedding weight.

I've not seen this noted anywhere, but while it was a let-down to not see Love make a much-deserved appearance in the All-Star game, he did the altruistic and unselfish thing by opting for the surgery instead of playing. The first week of recovery coinciding with the league-wide "holiday" really allowed him to get a jump on the process and return to the team sooner rather than later.

Contrast that with Lowry, who admitted to soreness in his wrist but insisted on playing in the All-Star game instead. Pretty boneheaded move that could potentially have serious ramifications for his team's standing in the playoff race.

Just another unfailing example of Love's sacrifice for the betterment of the team.

Hope they throw JR in the starting lineup as well unless they plan to keep Shump starting long term for whatever reason.

Hope they throw JR in the starting lineup as well unless they plan to keep Shump starting long term for whatever reason they are fucking stupid .

though i will grant lue a pass if JR is still recovering, and cant go 100% yet. Other than that JR needs to get his ass back into the starting line up sooner rather than later

I'm glad he's coming back. WB.

Lue has already said JR will be in the starting lineup soon.
