Ive been a critic of loves for a while and whilst i still believe we could spend his salary better elsewhere, is is an elite talent and can be effective if he plays like he believes he is an all star... a kevin love that lacks confidence is a straight liability

The issue was that Irving was uncomfortable with the Cavs.
That said ,it's obvious that the dysfunction we read about was from Irving.

I always knew Lue was talking about Irving. Love brand isn’t as big as Kyrie’s brand and people on this forum tried to push that Lue was talking about Love. Hell, I’m not even sure Lebron was talking about Love with the whole fitting in thing.

Nope, the bigger factor was simply that they didn’t have Curry playing, which simplified our defense considerably. We also didn’t have a ball dominating PG of our own playing to take shot attempts away from Kev.

All in all I’d be very shocked if Love has a similar game on January 15th.

Kev has been getting a little 3 happy in recent games. Has been shooting it well for the most part but I hope they do not lose the focus on using him inside, getting those easy points that keep him in rhythm, and to the FT line.

I’ve always been a lil harsh and critical of love in the past couple seasons.. but he looks amazing this season! Top 15.. idk about that maybe.. but definitely top 20

He has been superb offensively, career best shooting. Averaging 20 on less than 14 shots a game in only 29 mins. That is highly efficient, know there has been some discussion that IT will lead to a drop in his shots but it is not as if he has been taking the 17-19 that most second options get.

Needs some help on the boards though, Cavs need to rebound as a team, a lot of time Love is trying to box out the biggest man on the court, the rest can not be watching when this happens. Nurkic looked huge up against him last night.

I like how efficient he's been, but it sure can get ugly to watch him defend pick and roll... The IT/Love pick-and-roll-defense will be a marvel to watch!
