I wonder what his trade value is next season??
Tricky but I doubt it's high. He's a win now piece with well documented struggles against the one team everyone is building their roster to beat. Best hope is finding a GM whose team is trying to make the playoffs or struggling to hold on to relevance.

I've seen him block/contest several shots.

I've also seen him get switched on perimeter guys, do a decent job but get beat to the lane and receive no help at the rim.

Are we watching the same game?

Did you seriously not notice the plays where curry has driven to the basket and finished a wide open layup with Love being within one step that others are talking about?

Kevin is known as one of the better rebounders in the league. What on flat earth are you smoking Kyrie?

Then with his elite rebounding, good shot blocking, and ability to switch out and play good perimeter defense he should be in quite the demand on the trade market.

Plenty of teams would love him.

Again, your 4/5 shouldn't be relied on to guard Curry, and did you read where I mentioned NO HELP AT THE RIM?

The NBA rarely does talent for talent deals.

It’s almost always talent for rebuilding pieces. So it’s difficult to move Love to a
contender and get the talent back we need to remain a contender.

If we shop Love purely for rebuilding assets, we’ll get a decent return. Maybe not equal to what Butler or PG13 fetched but why would we. They are both superior players to Love and both younger as well.

So if we’re in rebuilding mode in a month, teams like Utah, Portland, Philly, Miami, Houston, OKC, SAS, Mil would absolutely consider offers with a pick of two or a young player.

Who said guard curry lol? I said take one step and put his hand up when curry drives up to him and shoots while he WATCHES and does NOTHING?

Thread was only gonna go one way if the Cavs didn't win this series no matter how he played.

He's played well. All of you complaining would have absolutely taken 21 and 13 before the series. Don't act.

I guess you can criticize him for not being able to guard Curry in isolation..but that's a weird criticism.

Now, maybe you'd like to trade him for a player who CAN, and I get that, but he's done his job. Blame the roster for having no center and no 2 guard capable of playing in this series.

I'm actually amazed that this thread is so full of life and not Tristan's or JRs, who have been by large quantities for more problematic for the Cavs this series.

What can we get for Love, KK, TT, and JR?

Who are good rebuilding pieces around Hill, Trae Young, Cedi, Nance, and Zizic?

Who sits on the bench next to Clarkson?

Dude KLove is killing it in his role as second option. Who's fault is it that the guys guarding Draymond and Iggy don't have one foot in the paint at all times when Love is forcing Curry to drive. The Warriors basically camp in the paint and intimidate the refs into not calling defensive 3 seconds when LeBron has Curry on him but we can't do a damn thing to help our better than 20/10 machine when he's forcing Curry into driving and contesting from behind.

Love became a dinosaur in the span of 2-3 years. His defense is better than what it’s given credit for, but ultimately, he can’t guard wing players and his athleticism is limited.

The dilemma with Love, IMO, is LeBeon has finally shown a willingness to play the 4 on a consistent basis. But Love hates playing the 5, even though it should make him a match-up nightmare. Unfortunately, he just plays so inconsistently game to game as a starting center.

I do think there is a natural sign and trade for with OKC for Love and PG. I could see us taking on a max deal of Paul George while we send out Love and #8.

That would still leave us with ammo to take on Kemba Walker, as long as we’re willing to absorb Batum’s contract. But we could do that with JR, Hill, Korver, and the true asset in Cedi Osman.

None of these trades for players are going to work unless u can bring Kevin Durant to the Cavaliers. We either need high IQ players or we need a coach who can put a great system which will enable people to thrive and become effective in that system.
