Kevin Love Trade Ideas

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kevin still has a long way to go, but it doesn't help that no one on this team can throw a damn entry pass....except the guy that should be receiving it. He threw perfect passes to lbj in the post but no one could return the favor.

So far, San Antonio bigs cant deal w draymond either

they havent put kawhi on him either

if we had another lockdown wing, we could put alternate the new guy and lebron.

its very clear to me though, love will be absolutely unplayable vs golden state. he wont be able to see the floor.

I don't even understand the point of these threads any more. It's pretty obvious the Cavs aren't going to win a title this year, unless the Warriors or Spurs have some major injury issues. There also aren't any realistic trades out there that are going to change that.

However, the team they have is good enough to win 50-60 games a year for the next few years. Keep the guys together and see if maybe they can pull off one of those Dallas years where everything just breaks right.

If the Cavs are not afraid of "out of the box thinking" I woud like for Dan Gilbert to trade David Griffin and whatever 1st round picks he hasn't already gotten rid of for Pat Riley.

Dawg, I completely hear you. I'm only disagreeing because fuck dude does it hurt to say something, hear something like that and subtly agree with it. Can someone go Tonya Harding on these Carrigans?

I do think there's a trade out there.... We just can't see it on the ESPN trade machine.

I'm pretty sure 99.9% of you weren't calculating how the Cavaliers could trade one Dion Waiters and a draft pick and reel in two wings and a pure center.

Trades are always complex, multi leveled, multi faceted. If we were able to pull something like that off last year; I think we need to see the situation through the lens that you are preaching CvO. I really do, and if we could re-shape the roster to include more perimeter help in terms of utility guys like Shump; we'd be doing okay.

I'm not sure what the trade would be, but I'm also not convinced the doors are closed and that there's not a trade which will present itself.

If Bibby watch taught me anything, it's that when you expect a trade to happen; nothing happens. When you are expecting no trade to happen, next thing your friends are texting you in the middle of the day telling you we've shipped off half of our team and 75% of the dead weight is gone.

Last year through 43 games we were 23-20, had just traded for 3 new players (one of which had yet to even suit up), and it didn't look like we would make it out of the East...bet none of us were confident we had any shot of beating the West champ, yet we went up on them 2-1 without 2 of our best 3 players...pardon me if I'm not throwing in the towel on this season...a lot can change in 4 months...this defeatist shit is annoying...

I am not accusing anyone of not watching basketball.

I will say I don't believe anyone could have watched tonight's spurs vs GS game and not see how absolutely useless Kevin Love is to our team.

Golden state destroyed the spurs in similar fashion to how they beat us. The Spurs bigs could not defend Draymond. They also didn't do a great job of scoring on him. He is the key, the engine that makes Golden State go.

The Warriors have eliminated the traditional power forward. You cannot play one against them. It just won't work. They still play centers but the PF is always a super athletic, large, wing player.

The only place for a guy like Love would be at Center until the death lineup rolls out with Draymond at center and then we cant play him at all. Love at center is a shit show though, because he provides ZERO rim protection.

The only way we are going to beat the Warriors is playing a lineup that can match them.

I really hope Griffin sees this. I hope he knows this guy is worthless vs the team we are most likly to see in the finals.

Lebron is going to have to play PF, maybe start there in a 7 game series with Golden State. I know he wont play there every night, but he has to in the finals.

We need more tough, athletic defenders who can hit 3s. We can't afford to play guys who are complete non factors on offense either.

It isnt defeatist to look at your most likely opponent see how they play you, see how they play other teams and make a judgement based on what you see.

Spurs decided to play Kawhi on Steph in an attempt to limit him. That didn't work; Pop tried it using the regular season..

They won't make that mistake twice. Now they know. Kawhi will shut Draymond down.

I wouldn't take too much from tonight's game.

Pop rested Duncan and let the Warriors blitz them while experimenting against them...like what we did to Atlanta last year...

It's fucking January...

Come on dude, basketball is the one sport where 99% of the time, you can pick who is in the finals before the season starts. This far in its almost a certainty.

We knew Miami was going every single year after their 1st.

Barring Injury, golden state is going to the finals and so are we.

We know who we are up against.

We were going to the Finals at 19-20 with a broken down LBJ, shitty bench, and Dion Waiters last year? And we were going to be up 2 games to 1 in the Finals?...give me the next winning numbers for the Powerball while you are at it...4 months is an eternity in sports...

mmmm, this wasn't like that at all.

I dont see what difference Duncan would have made in this game. Warriors cut their throats with small ball.

I think we have better guys to toss at curry w shump and delly than GS does.

I think shump is a better defender than Danny Green.
