Zydrunas Ilgauskas out tonight vs. Hawks

Center Zydrunas Ilgauksas will not play tonight against the Atlanta Hawks due to a sore right knee. Ilgauskas was hurt during the Cavaliers game at Milwaukee last Saturday.

"I'm not going to play tonight," Ilgauskas said after Tuesday's shootaround. "I got clipped from behind while I was in the post and it's been sore ever since I'm going to take a few days [off] until it feels better."

Ilgauskas was not able to finish practice on Monday.

this game is not a concern. z would've had a field day, against the hawks because the hawks play like bozos on the road. they have the second worst road record in the nba.

after we win this game our record will be in the top ten in the nba, which is where we belong with all of our talent. we will have one of the top five home records in the nba. we are the bomb.

face facts. we score the second most points in the nba, behind phoenix, and there are only twenty team in the league that allow fewer points than us. but it is offense that generates jersey sales and allstar votes and maximum contracts and endorsements. so don't let the points allowed numbers bother you.

atlanta doesn't have a center. za za pachula is more like a power forward. he doesn't score much. most of his points have been scored in games that the hawks have lost. they are big time losers. the hawks have a host of small forwards and shooting guards. Lebron and hughes can contain those guys.

with so much talent on our team we can afford to have alan henderson start at center.

This team just beat SA, once again proving that any team has enough talent to win on any given night, better or not. I am confident the Cavs will not simple come out flat against the Hawks but use this game to really try and show that they want to do everything right, both offensively and defensively. At least, the better try and do this.

Well good start to the quarter, but we got burned by their bench. Definately missing Ilgauskas, but we should be able to adjust. Again we are getting nothing from the bench. Quite disturbing really.
