Cavaliers Notes

*The boys come home a little down after getting murdered by an experienced, deep, superior talented, championship contender Indiana Pacers team on national TV. The best way to deal with a loss like that is to let it count for the one loss it is, and turn the page. Hopefully they learned from it and will bounce back the next time they have a chance to play those guys..

Timberwolves Notes

* The T-Wolves are winless on the road (0-5). They are looking to come into "THE Q" and changing that around a little bit. However, they will have to achieve that coming into this game on the back end of a Back2Back as they play Milwaukee tonight at home.
Nothing really new too report with these guys. They have K.G who plays like a warrior everynight, and a bunch of average players around him.

LePIP's tips for a victory

* Attack their perimeter players. Other then Trenton Hassell, this team is a poor perimeter defensive squad. Wally Szczerbiak, Richie Frahm, Marko Jaric, Rashad Mccants and Troy Hudson should see most of the minutes in this one along the perimeter.
Hopefully LeBron, (who probably woke up this morning in a cold sweat after dreaming of Artest in his face) will bounce back in a dominating fashion. But, this should be Larry's night to dominate..Hassell is their best defender. However, he can only guard one at a time.

"Z" must take over this game as well. I don't see much happening with Drew offensively if K.G is on him for the most part. However, O-LO-WO-KANDI is a poor defender. So "Z" should be able to get his offense going in this one.
On the other end, Drew will be forced to let K.G. get his.. Whether it's inside or a little further away from the basket, Garnett is a load to handle for a good defender. So with Drew on him, it should be a cake walk for this former MVP to get his numbers considering Drew is a poor defender.. Let K.G get his, but it's imperative to stop the others.

Overview

* Cavaliers should get this Victory.. The fact that the T-Wolves don't have a road win, and the Cavs are undefeated at home spells doom for Minny... But anything can happen. For the time being, the numbers are in the Cavs favor and they won't lie. Cavs continue their home dominance with another 15+pts homecourt W

*Also, this game againt Minny will be our first chance to see the new Blue alternate Uni's..The Cavs will wear these for the first time against the T-Wolves as well as 5 more times throughout the 05-06 season.

Re: T-Wolves vs Cavaliers

Good chance to get back on track against a fellow poor road team. They have the obvious danger man in Kevin Garnett, but his sidekicks are not what they used to be. Keeping Wally and Jaric quiet from the perimeter places too much pressure on Garnett. Keeping the Kandiman and Griffin off the offensive boards will be key. Attack Wally on offense as he is a step or two slow.

We should get away with this at home with minny backing up after playing Milwaukee tonight. I'll be cheering for the Wolves tonight as it relieves their hunger for a win on the road and also pushes back a central division rival.

Re: T-Wolves vs Cavaliers

Well Minnesota got the win, but they were playing at home. Sounds like Wally and Jaric played good as well- we can't allow that to happen tonight. Also, how is it that Indy slammed the door on us last night and then they let the friggin Hawks come in and beat them? I guess that's why you play each game. I'm going to the game tonight so I'm hoping for a win- they usually play well when they got special unis on- it worked well last year.

Re: T-Wolves vs Cavaliers

you have to believe that lebron is going to have a big night with a inferior defender, wally, gaurding him.

the outside shots will fall and the crowd will be juiced.

No background music?

:dunno:

There IS background music, but I isolated the audio voice track. I'll mix the final version for the radio show.

If Damon Jones is the world's best shooter, then I'm the most endowed man in America. Wait a minute...that didn't come out right....

Seriously...

Is the internet really this dead? Man.

Re: T-Wolves vs Cavaliers

It's the Paul Silas Cavs. No passing, no shooting, no 3's no nothing.

Oh yeah. No fan interest. Yawn. Cleveland sports. A legacy to live down to.

You'd think that with 2 seconds on an inbounds play, they would account for KG. Nah. Jordan beat us 86 times that way...it could NEVER happen again.

Ya.

that game was a fucking joke. now im pissed. whatever.

Not quite the good game that the score may suggest. Poor shooting outing for the Cavs.... bah

When Donyell doesn't perform, this club is in trouble. He's the anchor behind our 3 point shooting. I think he's the most important piece to this club right now....
