Cavaliers Notes
*The boys come home a little down after getting murdered by an experienced, deep, superior talented, championship contender Indiana Pacers team on national TV. The best way to deal with a loss like that is to let it count for the one loss it is, and turn the page. Hopefully they learned from it and will bounce back the next time they have a chance to play those guys..
Timberwolves Notes
* The T-Wolves are winless on the road (0-5). They are looking to come into "THE Q" and changing that around a little bit. However, they will have to achieve that coming into this game on the back end of a Back2Back as they play Milwaukee tonight at home.
Nothing really new too report with these guys. They have K.G who plays like a warrior everynight, and a bunch of average players around him.
LePIP's tips for a victory
* Attack their perimeter players. Other then Trenton Hassell, this team is a poor perimeter defensive squad. Wally Szczerbiak, Richie Frahm, Marko Jaric, Rashad Mccants and Troy Hudson should see most of the minutes in this one along the perimeter.
Hopefully LeBron, (who probably woke up this morning in a cold sweat after dreaming of Artest in his face) will bounce back in a dominating fashion. But, this should be Larry's night to dominate..Hassell is their best defender. However, he can only guard one at a time.
"Z" must take over this game as well. I don't see much happening with Drew offensively if K.G is on him for the most part. However, O-LO-WO-KANDI is a poor defender. So "Z" should be able to get his offense going in this one.
On the other end, Drew will be forced to let K.G. get his.. Whether it's inside or a little further away from the basket, Garnett is a load to handle for a good defender. So with Drew on him, it should be a cake walk for this former MVP to get his numbers considering Drew is a poor defender.. Let K.G get his, but it's imperative to stop the others.
Overview
* Cavaliers should get this Victory.. The fact that the T-Wolves don't have a road win, and the Cavs are undefeated at home spells doom for Minny... But anything can happen. For the time being, the numbers are in the Cavs favor and they won't lie. Cavs continue their home dominance with another 15+pts homecourt W
*Also, this game againt Minny will be our first chance to see the new Blue alternate Uni's..The Cavs will wear these for the first time against the T-Wolves as well as 5 more times throughout the 05-06 season.
