Keys to the game:

Lakers

-lose

Blazers

-put 3 playmates on Bynum's shoulders if he's playing
-use the "put 6 guys on the floor" strategy, as seen earlier this season vs. the Celtics
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkJsuD9Cb4o&feature=related
-double team Lamar Odom: it'll confuse him, thinking he's good, and he'll start to jack up 35 footers
-freeze Oden's sperm to genetically make a better Greg

Is Kobe Not Playing Hard Enough?

His coach seems to think so. The question was about Kobe Bryant’s recent lack of shooting touch, but Lakers coach Phil Jackson skipped right past the specifics to deliver a sweeping condemnation of the entire team’s lackluster play of late. ‘You know, my issue with the players is that they’re not working hard enough,’ Jackson said. ‘They’re saving steps. When you do that, you try to get by without having to exert yourself enough to win games the right way. And Kobe is one of those people who is doing that. He’s measuring out what it takes to win a ballgame. This is a veteran who’s been through a lot of seasons. We just have to shorten his minutes a little bit to keep his legs live.

White girls around the nation are relieved to find out that Kobe doesn't play while hard.

This is it, fellas. The Rape Show's greatest chance to lose a game. So get out your Voodo dolls and pray for a loss!

P.S. My record for game threads is 1-1.

LMAO. This is a big game for both Portland and LA. If LA loses, we'd be up 2 in the loss column, so I think we should shut down Z for as long as possible and let him keep his legs fresh.

We'll see what LA can do when healthy these 2 nights...This would be a tough game more for LA from coming off the nuggets game...Also they play @ POR which is more tougher

If it were a motivational tool, Jackson would save it for when it really counts in the playoffs. He's been having health issues off and on all year. I think his leg hurts, he's having trouble with the grind, and his years as a coach may be coming to an end pretty soon.

I don't think it will cause any problems for the Lakers not to have him there, but if a 60+ win team needs their coach's absence as motivation to play harder in Portland, then they have some real problems.

Should be a great game.

I really hope the Blazers can pull off a win tonight.

This is definitely the best chance at Lakers losing another game before the season is over. Back to back without Phil @ Portland where they have loss 7 straight wont be surprised if either wins. If Lakers do win this thoiugh I would expect them to end the season on a 8 game win streak.

We control our destiny, we got the lead...with that said beat LA

^^^ Cmon man.... :puke:

In regards to Bynum...
LOS ANGELES - He lumbered down the hallway, each step looking more painful than the one before it. Already, the Los Angeles Lakers had decided to hold him out of Friday's game in Portland. No sense risking his right leg swelling again.
