I'm not watching a damn minute of the Finals. That's officially settled.

Im so not watching any finals games.

Plus I wouldnt root for another team even if you pointed a gun at my head.

Going for Orlando. Gotta represent the eastern conference, first off. Secondly, I live about an hour from downtown L.A and i absolutely hate people having stupid lakers flags/license plate frames on their cars, therefore i hope they lose so the flags and stuff will leave.

The Lakers will easily win it.

Probably in 5.

That said, I'm not rooting for anyone. Just want to see how it plays out.

It's gonna be tough as hell to beat orlando, they swept us in the regular season. Bynum is pretty much gonna have to sacrifice him self in every game, cause if we double team we will get burned by those 3 pt shooters. Dwight is gonna get his numbers but if we hold everyone else down... i think we got a good chance..

I'm also worried about the 2-3-2 format, if orlando steals one of the first 2 then it could be trouble.

I always found it weird when people are like, "hey, gotta root for the eastern conference."

Why? Because we played there too? My neighbor goes to same church as me. He's a total jerk, I don't care if he get a promotion

I want Magic to win, i can't stand those lakers fans. If the Lakers win, Kobe's legacy will get closer to MJ's. Even though the Magic kicked our butts, they deserved to be in the Finals because they were clearly the better team.

hmmmm.... I hope L.A. f.u.c.k's the smile out their face :)

Choosing the Lakers to me is a emotional decision. I choose the Magic:

1. Overall, the team doesn't bother me. I kind of dislike Rafer Alston, but it is minor dislike. I don't like Odom, Kobe, Bynum, Sasha or Fisher.

2. If the Magic win...I won't hear about it. I have never met a Magic fan. I have never seen anyone wearing Orlando gear outside of just somebody wearing a Hardaway throwback, and they aren't fans of the team. I don't know who cheers for them. Orlando is a tourist town. They are just like the Marlins...no real fans or following. When Boston won last year, we had incessant Boston themed ads and promos...I don't see that with the Magic. Maybe some Howard stuff, but will be about it.

3. Lakers have won enough. It has gotten to the point where the Laker organization and team just NEED to suffer.

I can't see how anyone would want to hear about the Lakers for a whole year and have the Kobe/Lebron stuff come up again, and the Kobe and Shaq stuff come up again and have all the stuff we have to endure anyway be reignited.

Go Magic...because frankly, no one will care.

Lakers in 6.

Orlando was a match-up nightmare for Cleveland not LA. Orlando won't have undersized guards running out to their three-point shooters. They will also have to contend with a much better big-front offensive-defensive tandem in Gasol and Bynum.

Yeah, that's true. but both Rashard and Hedo are faster than Gasol and Bynum. I don't think Phil is going to start Bynum in this series, he'll start Odom on Rashard. But they really have no answer for Dwight Howard, he will abuse Pau Gasoft. Orlando have no answer for Kobe neither, but he sure as hell won't shoot over 50% in this series. Pietris is too physical and strong, he won't shut down Kobe, but he sure as hell will make him take bad shots.

For some reason, i think Orlando won't hit their wide open 3's as consistent as they were hitting them against us. I really hate it when a team is shooting well, but once they get to the Finals they can't even make a wide open shot. I hope they play as consistent as they were against us. If Kobe win, the media won't stop kissing dick for the next few months. If Magic win, they truly deserved it.

I really hate Mark Jackson. He's the biggest Kobe/Laker homer on ESPN beside Magic Johnson.

I'll tell you the reason. They'll choke. Just like Mo and Delonte did for the majority of this series. Sooner or later their inexperience has to show. Especially Dwight's, who is basically a big, dumb kid.

I voted for the lakers, i wont exactly be rooting for them but i do see the matchups orlando had over us the lakers have over them. I mean seriously:

Who will guard kobe? 6'5" rookie courtney lee? pietrus?

Can the magic bench continue to shoot 50% from the 3?

trevor ariza is going to burn up hedo.

the lakers if they play with purpose can just get into their triangle and post up whichever mismatch they have. Odom, gasol, bynum, kobe even luke frickin walton if hes got a smaller player on him.

even howard will have defensive issues especially when bynum is out and he has to mark pau gasol at the high post.

It probalby wont be a sweep, but on paper i think the lakers will win. I might watch just out of curiosity especially of how SVG think he can turn his one advantage (alston v fisher) into the deciding factor.
