The league probobly wants the Lakers to win to get Kobe a 'ship by himself to shut up Shaq and his raps, so I'll go with them.

I don't care how arrogant and insecure Magic fans are, but Lakers fans are worse..If you go on a Magic forum, you won't find any " I hate LeBron James" related threads on their forum. If you go on a Lakers forum, you'll find at least 10 to 20 " I hate LeBron James" related threads on their forum.

I think the skewed polling is just a reaction to us losing. Don't see how anyone would actually "root" for the Lakers in the series.

If there's no way both of these teams could lose, I'll take the Magic. Why? Because they beat us fair and square. Because there's no true (Garnett-like) douchebags on the team, and because we'd never hear the end of "Kobe has 4 rings".

The Magic will be contenders for years to come(assuming Hedo doesn't leave and Jameer comes back). Plus, they legitimately deserve to win. Lakers half-ass it every other night and have the biggest collection of douchebags ever.

In the end of the day, we'd get more motivated with the Magic as champs.

They win this round, we got next.

GO MAGIC.

After our loss, I took a moment to detach myself from my diehard allegiance to the Cavs, and look at what just happened from the standpoint of purely a fan of the game. And when I looked at the way the Magic played from that lens, I had nothing but awe and admiration for the basketball the Magic played (say what you will about the whining)...

The seemingly devil-may-care attitude with which they let those 3 balls fly (the less you think about it, the more it'll go in), the way they integrated Howard into their fun-n-gun and didn't skip a single beat on offense...it was truly beautiful to watch, and I can only hope that we're able to upgrade our talent on offense enough to play like a similarly well-oiled machine in future years...

That being said, Magic in 6.

I want Magic to win, i can't stand those lakers fans. If the Lakers win, Kobe's legacy will get closer to MJ's. Even though the Magic kicked our butts, they deserved to be in the Finals because they were clearly the better team.

Only one man should even have the right to be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan 10 years from now...that man wears #23 and plays in Ohio (and will continue to do so!), not in California.

That alone is reason enough to root against LA. As a kid, I watched Jordan every night living in the Chicagoland area...Kobe is nothing more than a glorified pretender...in layman's terms, he is a "poor man's" Jordan. LeBron will be just as great one day.

I Am. I don't hate Kobe Bryant, he's a good player. Now off the court...i dont know.

Nah. Magic got all the calls in the world. Personally i think the magic have more douchebags then the Lakers
