Dudley's source could very well be Stoudemire, but don't forget that Stoudemire is a biased party in this thing. He is still trying to get LeBron to come to NY, so who knows what he might do to try to push momentum in that direction?

I do not think some random player is going to break the story...but I guess I could be wrong considering we live in a world where Jose Canseco blew the lid off MLB's steroid scandal...

It comes down to if you believe Windy's word over Amar'e Stoudemire's. If you don't, you are a fool.

Windy said LeBron's potential suitors have been in the dark on his decision and the ESPN Special thing. So if Windy is correct, obviously LeBron has not told the team he decides to sign with, meaning Amar'e has no idea.

Byron Scott makes visit to LeBron James skills camp; is he making final pitch?

AKRON, Ohio -- With LeBron James on the brink of a decision, the Cavaliers may be sending in their top recruiter for one final pitch.

New Cavs coach Byron Scott arrived at the University of Akron about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday just as James was about to start his daily workout during his Nike Camp. All media had been removed from the building when Scott entered.

It may be the Cavs last chance to directly talk to James before he announces his free agent decision tomorrow night at 9 p.m. on ESPN. According to a source, while the Cavs have been in contact with James' representatives in recent days they have not talked directly to James since last Saturday's meeting with him.

There were several Cavs players scrimmaging with James, including Daniel Green, Jamario Moon and 2009 first round draft pick Christian Eyenga. Cavs assistant coach Chris Jent and assistant athletic trainer Mike Mancias have also been taking part in James' workouts this week. Scott could be attending to get to know those players better.

However, Scott is seen as a key piece of the Cavs' pitch for James to re-sign. The team made sure he was hired in time for the start of free agency. Scott made a presentation to James as a part of the meeting last week.

My kind of Judgment Day isn't spelled with a second "e"...

Re: LeBron Free Agency Part V (Judgement Day)

To me, its clear that our FO has done everything they possibly could to entice Bosh and others to come and play with LeBron...but these NBA players care more about living on the beach than winning titles...thats incredibly clear now. Titles are just a bonus to most of these guys.

Having said that, I can't say I'm very confidant that LeBron stays, and I can't completely blame him either. No other big time free agents will come here for insanely dumb reasons, and it's hurting LeBron's chances of getting a title. I will be crushed and furious with Bron if he leaves, but I would rather see him win a title somewhere else, than see him stay here his whole career and never win one if I'm honest.

Games not over yet though...still time to nab a big time player like Boozer + a 2 guard.

NY espn radio is driving me crazy. They dont think we're going to improve our roster if lebron stays

Re: LeBron Free Agency Part V (Judgement Day)

Sorry double post.

Re: LeBron Free Agency Part V (Judgement Day)

He's probably staying... that 1 hour shit would be the all time most idiotic move of all time if he's leaving Cleveland.

Or he has pre-taped his decision on going to NYC and will let that run "live" on ESPN and everyone in Cleveland will watch and as soon as he says he is leaving, people will be looking to fuck him up but he bought himself enough time with that pretaped message to pack up his shit and leave town.

I saw a similar approach in the movie SPEED.

Re: LeBron Free Agency Part V (Judgement Day)

Shelly Smith said Scott didn't even speak with LBJ....either Scott is a dumbass or he already knows LBJ is coming back.....

Re: LeBron Free Agency Part V (Judgement Day)

In all honesty, I'm starting to get nervous..

In all of these years LeBron has shown me he does care for this city, but I think he cares for himself a bit more. He loves being in the spotlight and I think a big part of him does want New York.. I just hope its not big enough to stray him away from home...

Re: LeBron Free Agency Part V (Judgement Day)

Not gonna lie, if i was LeBron right now New York would look really nice seeing as bosh and wade teamed up in Miami. He might want to get a South Beach vs. Concrete Jungle rivalry going....

Well you can make a case that we didn't last year. We traded away our best expiring for Shaq who didn't work out. We also used our MLE on Moon & Parker who weren't great. We traded for Jamison in Feb.

Don't act like we're going to be getting all these players once LeBron re-signs. We're in the same position as last year.

Re: LeBron Free Agency Part V (Judgement Day)

I think most of these free agents don't want to be second fiddle to lebron. He runs every facet of this franchise and has for years, "get me...larry hughes," the front office has tried to listen to Lebron in fear of him walking out the door... Where would you go? To a place where you could be the man and get paid or would you rather go to the cavaliers where Lebron is the master puppeteer (just my conjecture).

Re: LeBron Free Agency Part V (Judgement Day)

Christ's sake I've read so much bullshit since last night that now I actually think he's leaving again. I'm sick of this crap. Time to just do ourselves a favor and find something to occupy ourselves until 9 pm tomorrow when we can end this shit once and for all.

The only problem with that is that Wade and Bosh would get the last laugh by beating the shit out of a soft Knicks squad whose team philosophy didn't work with a superior roster in Phoenix. LeBron knows this. If he leaves, it's gonna be Chicago, but I don't see that happening.
