LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well as far as i did read he is mostly Frustrated because we reportetly where very close to a deal for Butler and right in that Moment Dan decided to dismantle out Front Office..

if this is really true then everyone should be frustrated and pissed off, because Butler would have been a huge step forward for us

;)Maybe Lebron should have signed for the Veteran Minimum back in 2016 then they would have had plenty of money to bring in a star or a couple of great role players. He makes so much money outside of the NBA, he could have done this sacrifice, won several more titles (with a more stacked team). Then made even MORE money from endorsements due to his increase of fame and legend status with all of the titles. If he had won the last couple Finals, with more to come, you can't tell me he wouldn't be in even higher demand to endorse products. Sacrifice money to make money while winning more championships! Seems like a win-win to me. BTW I am sort if serious.

He could have signed for enough less so they didn't have to send out so many picks to clear space. They would have had younger players to package in deals etc too.

I don't think there is any truth to the Cavs having a deal in place for Butler.. They weren't trading him to us... Why would any team trade assets to Chicago and come away with Love instead of Butler?.. All this media leak shit is getting old... Let things play out before we hear this LBJ is upset shit...

There is no deal out there that is magically going to vault the Cavs ahead of the Warriors. I've been saying this all offseason. If LeBron is mad that we aren't making some phantom move, I don't know what to tell him. There is nothing to be done except ride with what we have and hope the Warriors get hurt or something. I know it's a bitter pill to swallow but that's just the landscape right now in the NBA. Going to the Lakers or elsewhere isn't going to get him any closer to winning a title, in fact he may not even make it out of the West that way. Are the Lakers planning on signing George, Westbrook and/or trading for Cousins or something ridiculous? If so, they may have a chance against GSW...maybe...if not, though, then they aren't beating GSW. Even if LeBron goes there.

Don't see what LBJ gains by leaving. That said, if he wants to leave so badly...farewell. I'll always be a LeBron fan, although him leaving again kind of ruins the storybook ending, whatever, life isn't a storybook. He'll still get a statue. Personally, I got my championship, and it was as amazing as I thought it'd be. The drama that comes with having LeBron is just unending and after a decade of him with the Cavs, and finally having the elusive title, I think I can safely say if he left I'd be a little upset but also ready to move on without such drama. Naturally, the Warriors all but guaranteeing we won't win another title with LeBron would make his departure hurt a lot less.

Just my two cents.

Have to let go of the notion the Cavs could've gotten Butler of George...Guys it was never happening Griff or no Griff...Lebron can dream all he wants those teams were not trading with us

Isn't Lebron the Vice-President of the PLAYER'S UNION? I don't think that person is going to take less money than he is worth...ever. That's kind of a bad sign for the not so "Close to GOAT" players.

I respectfully disagree with a few of your points. I know this is an extreme long shot but IF the Cavs somehow got Melo without giving up the Big 3 and then signed Wade mid-season after/if he is bought out i would give the Cavs a great chance. But that is a huge IF. I also think there is a very good chance Lebron leaves after this season for L.A., S.A., Houston or maybe even a crazy curve ball like Philly.

Well, Iggy is also a VP of that union, and he got the most he could. Same with Steph Curry.

On the other hand, Chris Paul is actually the President of the NBAPA, but agreed to opt-in to his contract and waived his $15% trade kicker so he could sign with the Rockets.

He did in Miami, but not in Cleveland.

Jeff Ziglet can promote this theory till hes blue in the face.

If was so close, then it shoild be extremely easy for him to name the teams and players involves, right? Being so damn close, and all....

If LeBron is fustrated about off season moves, there is one thing he can do about it. Which is keep recruiting Melo and make him realize that it's in his best interest to come to Cleveland. Houston can make all the moves possible to get better and use up all their assets, they will never be favored over golden state. If Melo walks back that he will waive his no trade clause to Houston and he only wants to come to Cleveland, a deal will happen.

We still have time to find replacements for Frye, Shump, and RJ as the only money available will be mininium contracts soon. If we are going to do a Melo deal it has to be soon, otherwise there won't be anyone left to fill the extra roster spots.

With that view, I see no reason not to strip the team down and blow it up. Since increasing the team's chances via roster improvement still means it's pointless.

Melo and Wade would help and If Bron is Nati he can make it happen. This team can beat them as is but they need a better game plan aka coach. Or coach has to learn how to gameplan. What GS did is awful and I give the Cavs no hate for it. If they can take down the media created bullshit team then guess what LeBron is the GOAT. You know that is his goal and he might pass Jordan alone by beating that team with what he has.

Well see LeBron sees it as some kinda virtue that he keeps everything a secret amd won't tell anyone his plans.

So the Cavs cleared that dpace prior to actually knowing hed come back, they just heard he might.

In reality he does this because he absolutely adores the attention. That's been clear for a long, long time.

So no one will know, again, what his plans are this summer.
