Im most excited about a motivated Lebron, Kevin Loves chance to be the real second option, and the depth we now have to maybe let Lebron rest more during games without the quick 12-0 two minute run.

Not to even mention the chance at another finals trip and then a shot at a top 5 pick.

You put IT on the floor with JR, Green, TT...those 12-0 runs are a thing of the past. Everyone is underestimating this kid. I truly feel that his fire can overcome a lot of problems people are bringing up.

And the regular season is going to be necessary to incorporate all the new pieces. He's going to get more rest next season thankfully. Crowder is a guy who can keep the defense from falling to shit if LeBron is out and IT and love can provide the majority of the offense. I'd bet my last dollar that IT and Love is a much better combo than Kyrie and Love because love can be used as a hub where Kyrie would never allow that.

Where has the fallout occurred since? Gilbert's meddling sucks, but he kept his word and his spending ultimately sealed LeBron's legacy.

Well no kidding. On a personal level I'm sure he dislikes Gilbert.

But as far as I can see nothing has changed in their relationship since he agreed to come back here. In fact, it may even be slightly better as LeBron has seen just how much freedom he has here, and that Dan spends more than any owner in the history of the league. Which was one of the major factors of getting LeBron back here; having an owner that spends.

That video was part of an entertainment piece for Uninterrupted. I would not get too wrapped up in taking any meaning from it.

It's also something he has to say to balance some fine lines and intersections of his legacy, various fanbsase factions, etc.

Lebron achieved what he wanted for the people and city of Cleveland so i could definitely see him moving on if his wife and mum are still pushing him not to work for Dan Gilbert. They obviously both hate him and they have a bit more leverage when (if) trying to convince bron to leave.


The thing i dont see is if he does leave its almost certainly to a worse situation in terms of winning. So would lebron finally not value winning above all else?

Maybe if warriors thump us and he thinks this team isnt beatable? Doesnt seem like his mindset.

Maybe hes got a plan of a decent team out west and would rather lose earlier than have long gruelling playoff run than go all the way to the finals and lose. Prolong his career.

Except I don’t think that’s happening. It’s not like Dan Gilbert is actively antagonizing LeBron. I’d be surprised if his mom and wife were “still pushing” for that.
