LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sometimes I wish he never hit those step back jumpers earlier in the year. They aren’t falling anymore.

The whole playing LeBron 30+ mins before the 4th Qrt is not an effective method for LeBron.

No idea why he played the entire 3rd Qrt.

I know it retained us LeBron but winning the championship the year we did was probably the worst timing possible. If we won the season prior (like if Love and Kyrie weren't injured), I think the Warriors would be constructed very differently. They probably would have over paid for a guy like Rudy Gay and not had the money to sign KD last offseason. If we won last season instead of two seasons ago, KD would also not be on the Warriors because why mess with a good thing?

I mean, I wouldn't give it up for anything. The struggles, being down 3-1 and coming back, the shot, the block... All magical. But while a team like the Warriors came back from winning a championship to win 73 games (only to barely lose), we had to come back to win like 50 games and go up against the best team ever constructed. It's probably disheartening for LeBron too. I kind of get not wanting to commit. After being here this long, there is still no trust between Gilbert and LeBron, and I think Bron wants to see a gesture of getting shit done before he'd even think about staying. I just want to see Golden State go down so I'd say if he doesn't stay, Spurs all the way.

Some good points overall, but I still don't understand why the bolded is common wisdom.

If Harrison Barnes had shot better than 3-10 in Game 7 and helped flip that game, but still had a dismal overall series, I don't see how the Warriors tell Durant "no thanks" after actively recruiting him all season, or otherwise not effectively use the cap spike on another top FA or two. Myers won't hold on to anyone for sentimental or other value if there's a way to improve the team - he hasn't even given Curry a NTC yet, let alone kept one of the weakest links on the 2016 team.

It's a fair point but I don't know if Draymond would have made the call at all being drunk on champagne...

Yeah, A break is needed.

Lack of having a 2nd scorer who can get buckets while LeBron takes a breather is clearly showing.

Not saying this in relation to how the season will play out, but in terms of tonight, we should at least acknowledge the missing abilities of the two guys in street clothes on the bench tonight.

Keep in mind that IT is not just getting used to being on the court in real games for the first time in 7 months, he's also doing it on a new team with all new teammates. Many of whom are also new to each other. And currently with a minutes restriction and no back to backs as well.

And no practises. Just film sessions telling them they're shit and need to be better.

I kind of compare that to entry level jobs which requires 10 years of experience... I think they need to practise once a week at least, even if it's in some high school gym. The last month has been rough with road games but that can't be an excuse since they go out and drink constantly.

We all know LeBron checks out for plays and that's why IT, Wade, and even Rose are important. Lue needs to be on point with how he rest guys for the rest of the season. This back to back was prime example if Wade and IT can't play both then Lue should have played each in one game. IT could have gotten more touches tonight than split the second unit touches with Wade last night.

You guys can blame offense all you want, to me it’s all about defense.

We all need to play better, including Bron. I’m sick of others saying he plays safety, he’s been burned by many, playing average on ball defense. He’s capable of much better defense, and I pray he improves as he’s historically shown in the playoffs and 2nd half of season, but I’m done with assumptions. I want to see some action.

So advice to all is slow down on the pitchforks.. just sharpen them for now..

LeBron played like he didn't care on Christmas. If he plays like that again, regardless of wanting roster changes, he just doesn't care for the season.

I really think the loss to the Curry-less Warriors deflated our team. We kept saying our bench was great, that we were deeper than last year etc. and I expected us to win on Christmas.

Lebron has mopped the floor with KD in years past and without Curry that day, MVP vs MVP, I always expect Lebron to come out on top...but he got his ass handed to him. People saying he didn’t care...Bull. Our record was still pretty close to theirs at that point and was a statement game that could’ve catapulted Lebron further ahead in the MVP rankings this year (something he seemed to be pushing for very hard)...but Kd balled out and Lebron came up short.

I feel that this team is just trotting along now and whatever happens, happens.

Spoiler alert: chill mode will be in full force tonight. Warriors by 20+
