LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Great game by lebron... a few too many turnovers but thats to be expected when a 34 year old is the one pushing the pace

LeBron James, in his 15th season, with his 11th triple-double of the season tonight.

Of all the players to ever play in the NBA, there have only been 24 others by players playing ANYWHERE BETWEEN their 15th season and the end of their career.

Jason Kidd (x7)
Kobe Bryant (x5)
Pau Gasol (x3)
Paul Pierce (x3)
Vlade Divac
Tim Duncan
Elvin Hayes
Mark Jackson
Karl Malone
Charles Oakley
Zach Randolph

LeBron will probably be on that list with a "(x35)" by his name before it's all said and done. Maybe more.

That's really incredible. Hell, Lebron could end up with (x50) between now and the end of his career. As he ages his points will probably decline but his assists and rebounds will stay up. Only need 10 points for a triple double, that's how Kidd got all of his.

I just shuddered at the thought of seeing 6’10 220 pound Mychal Thompson defending the paint like a menace while the meager 6’8” 270 softy LeBron attempts to drive. Glad LeBron plays in an era where players are smaller, weaker and less athletic. Mychal Thompson’s stats of 13 ppg were deceptive. Just like inflation his stats adjusted to this weak era puts him at 30 ppg.

I was against the idea for the longest time, but I'm on board now. Next road game, protest sit LeBron. And be up front about it. Tell the media he's sitting because he can't keep getting hacked on every play with no call. Make the NBA fine the team. Fuck it

Now I understand why LeBron likes to play with other stars instead of just role players. I'm sure it doesn't feel good to know you have to play at a superhuman level to even have a chance to win.
He'd be fine with the role players we have if our coach wasn't a dumbass. The lineups today were atrocious even by Ty Lue standards.

The thing I don't get is why he continues to be supporting of coaches like Lue, with no system and no ability to coach a team to be able to get points when things aren't working smoothly. Coaches like Pop manage to do the basketball equivalent of manufacturing runs in Baseball. Lue just throws guys out there and lets them just do their thing. When you NEED a few buckets, you have to run plays.

Easy. Lebron likes the power. Kyrie admitted over interviews that everything was up to him over here under Lue, when he sat, when he came in and out of games, etc. He'd rather have free-reign to do whatever the hell he wants to than have some coach implementing and forcing a system on him. I mean how could he justify all of those 30ft fade-away 3 pointers?
