LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Will he come back?

Shit I'm just a fan and I don't even want to come back next year.

Anytime you can do nothing while a 17 point lead becomes a 7 point deficit, you have to do it.

Good job, good effort.

Well, he is gone.

I will forever be thankful for 2016.

I kinda feel for him. I do. But wtf was he doing in that 3rd quarter? Was he trying to get others in rhythm? Because he should have just attacked instead of dicking around. May be he was tired. But still doesn't make sense not to attack the paint when everyone in our team had forgotten how to shoot!

I love you LeBron. You will always be the King of Cleveland. You broke the championship curse.

Now go be amazing on a team that actually has a coaching staff, a front office and players not named Jeff Green.

I feel like there are times he doesn't attack the paint because he thinks he's going to get fouled and not get the call. Which probably would've been the case given what Indiana was allowed to get away with in the second half.

It's harder for him now. It's just harder for him to get around the corner at this phase of his career. Even when the paint is not packed on defense.

I think he worries about offensive fouls with this (getting to paint), also.

Thats a good point.

But he still should have tried.

I think it was a combination of what you said, plus the fact that he may have been feeling a bit gassed out and just frustrated with the fact that he has to carry the team again. Like I said, I feel for him but he just has to do better.

Welp it was fun while it lasted, at least we will always have 2016 when Kyrie and Bron went absolutely bonkers and took down a 73 win team, greatest sports memory ever

Unfortunately lts the last season of LeBron with the Cavs wish him luck wherever He decides to go, but hey on the bright side at least we won’t see Lue standing on an NBA sideline ever again, and we’ll probably trade Love too

Hard to attack when the shooting isn't providing him the spacing to do it. This ain't the 90s.

All I can say is that this clip, that has stuck with me for years, resonates deeply after today's game (from 2:06 onward):

It's not on him. Nor is it solely his responsibility to try to avoid the inevitable. But one has to ask: is LeBron intentionally avoiding the pain and the obvious mark placed on his legacy that losing again in the Finals would bring?
