LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I’m sorry but those whining about third quarter production are obviously nitpicking, and are spoiled by lebron greatness. It’s a shame because it takes you away from reality.

This series so far, lebron is averaging:

32.5PPG/ 11.8RPG/ 8APG/ 54.1FG%/ 62.8TS%

but you know, he scored 1 point in the third quarter.. durrhh.

Totally lebron fault. How dare he not average 100/100/100 shooting on 101% FG?

You do realize that someone that can score 20+ points at will in one entire half, and then score just 1 point(off of a FT, I believe) in a quarter does not make sense. It almost seemed like he is trying to prove a point, whatever that is. Just seems too intentional how this team goes completely gold in the 3rd for like 3 games in a row now...common denominator=LeBron not attacking, even though he is coming off rest from the Half Time.

I mean what the other explanation? Bogdonavic can shut down LeBron magically during 3rd quarters only?

1 point is off of a FT you believe? Is there a scenario that 1 point is not off of a FT?

When I look back at the games played in this series I think it is fatigue. Maybe they are playing Lebron out of the post and only passing 1 time at most because that is what they want to do offensively, but I think all the movement and passing stops because they are tired.

Maybe they are also too cold. Half time is longer in the playoffs I think.

Coming out slow to a lead is also dangerous as they have lost that halftime lead every game except the first one, when they didn't have one.

Lol at people that want Lebron to continuously attack for 45 minutes a night in a playoff game.

It’s just insane. He is clearly conserving energy. I don’t think people realize how gassing playoff basketball is.

Oladipo looked so damn gassed last night and he’s like a baby new born out there.

Lebron is 33, is doing everything, and he’s playing at a plus level defensively for the most part.

Personally I find eating Mexican food much more gassing, but if I eat Mexican food while watching playoff basketball, watch out.

If you find someone with that kind of motor, pls let me know. Hell, the highest PPG in nba history is barely at 30.. by your logic, lebron should be throwing 40 a game..

Agreed. Lebron even stated he is conserving energy.

Lebron is tired. 82 games was a mistake.

I think the 82 games was a mistake too. I also think it was a mistake early in the season not getting another ball handler. Wade ran the second unit but that stretch where Rose went down and Lue refused to use Calderon took a toll on LeBron. Wade was even take games off when we only had Calderon as a PG.

LeBron was the primary ball handler for the vast majority of minutes he played this year. At least last year he had Kyrie taking 36 minutes a game as a PG that LeBron could switch with. In the championship year Kyrie and Delly allowed him to have a ball handler to turn to at all times.

Hill and Clarkson just haven't played with LeBron long enough to true take pressure off him yet. If we don't bring in a star PG, I'd try to find one to add to the team thru trade or free agency. Even a full season of a guy like Trey Burke getting 20 minutes a game would help conserve LeBron.

Does seem weird we can't get a legit PG when they say there is a glut at the position. I really thought Hill would be perfect, but I have been underwhelmed by his playmaking. Really is just a combo guard.

Yea it's crazy but the type of PG that we need hasn't been what we have aquired. We really need a PG that can drive and kick easily to the corners, who also has a 3 point shot. It's really what this system is built around. Delly was good as a backup but I think that's because he worked with guys to get other plays down. His defense also helped to make him alot more playable. Even though Delly couldn't drive and kick like Kyrie or LeBron, we have seen staple plays that he ran and kept our offense rolling disappear. Not one PG has been able to consistently do that slow walk high handoff to TT like Delly and Kyrie use to.

Rose and IT just weren't able to snap that pass to a 3 point shooter on the outside. I do believe if Rose stayed healthy, him and LeBron would have figured out something that worked. I watched Rose assist highlights and he really liked to dish to a big man for a 15 ft jumper. We didn't really have any players that had that shot to implement it.

I was hoping for more from Hill but for what he is giving I think the front office will look to use his 19 million expiring. With time I think he could be a good player in our guard rotation, just not the starting PG. With the amount of SGs type players we have, we have to turn some of their expirings or value into other depth. If we resign Hood, I think we have to see if we can move Hill, JR, and Korver. Let Cedi, Hood, and Clarkson hold down the SG position and find some PGs that work for our system.
