LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If I am for real, I think he may have already told the Cavs he is leaving. Why else would they be trying to soften the blow by having Ty Lue talk about player development? Not trading the pick, not trading Love so they can sell tickets.

There isn’t a place in Hollywood for a 6’9 mediocre actor. It’s just not how it works.

What?!

Hollywood is built on mediocre meathead actors.

Look at the recent success of all the WWE guys: Rock, Cena, Bautista. And then there's the previous generation of mediocre meatheads: Willis, Arnold, Stalone. Add to that guys like Wahlberg, Keanu Reeves, Vin Diesel...and it's almost the very model on which "blockbuster" movies are built.

And don't get me wrong, I fucking love crazy ass action movies. LOVE them. But let's not pretend that these guys are especially talented actors. They aren't.

The Rock killed it in Moana.

Well, um, you just sold me on a Lebron action flick

Would love to see Lebron in reboot of Commando

Steph would be perfect for the role of the ambiguously gay Green Beret in the Mesh Shirt

Or...maybe LBJ knows there is 1 more year of GSW dominance, regardless of where he goes, so he's willing to develop young guys for 1 season to reload with youth! It would be the smartest move he could make.

Trade Love, Hill, JR, Korver. Develop Sexton, Cedi, and Zizic. Take the 2nd half of the season off so that we get our pick from Atlanta, and then we'll be ready to rock the season after next.

I would love this. I just don't see it happening though. He hasn't shown this sort of foresight before.

Bautista was sick in Bladerunner 2049. I love him in Guardians of the Galaxy too
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE action movies, and I agree, Bautista actually showed some range in Blade Runner.

I'm going to stop you right there. There are things you do and things you don't do, and remaking Commando is surely one of those things YOU DON'T FUCKING DO.

It's a glorious product of 80s action-moving making that can never be recaptured. Fuck that idea to modern action movie hell.

The odds of it are pretty low, but the shitty options for him around the league may make this more probable.

Or, we do a variation of it where we trade for Kemba, trade Love for ???, and then develop Cedi and Zizic.

I mean it is one of my faves. Raw Deal may be the only Arnold movie that is more gratuitous.

How about "Commando 2" needs a bladerunner 2049 long time gone sequel. Arnold coaches up Lebron to take out the terrorists who stole an aging Alyssa Milano

I'd prefer this: Alyssa Milano is recaptured and brainwashed, only cloned 9 times. Protege LeBron must find and kill all 9 iterations but only winds up offing 3.

Epic.

We may disagree on a lot of things, but I'm down with all your movie prefences!
