LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd prefer this: Alyssa Milano is recaptured and brainwashed, only cloned 9 times. Protege LeBron must find and kill all 9 iterations but only winds up offing 3.

Epic.
"Only" cloned 9 times lol

Like, the world couldn't possibly handle more than that. :)

And for the record, they use a time machine to clone prime Milano from Embrace of the Vampire (title?)...right?

If I am for real, I think he may have already told the Cavs he is leaving. Why else would they be trying to soften the blow by having Ty Lue talk about player development? Not trading the pick, not trading Love so they can sell tickets.

If it's indeed rumored to be announced in a "space jam" trailer? This whole thing would have been plotted out, written at least...a year or so in advance, no?

So either way if it is indeed revolving around "Space Jam 2". They would know.

Well the marketing wouldn't have to be, but yeah I get it.

Which either jives with one of two thoughts:

1. LeBron knew he was staying in Cleveland long-term.
2. Chris Sheridan may have actually been right when he said:

Turned on Cleveland sports talk radio for a good half and hour today. God damn all of this is sensationalized so much. Does anyone else not really give a flying shit what happens? Either Lebron stays and we do what we can to compete again, or he leaves and we blow this shit up and begin from square one and start the tank. I know I flip flop a little, but at this point I'm completely fine with either of them. Even though we sucked ass during the dark ages without Lebron, I still enjoyed watching young players develop.

The space Jame rumors have been out for damn near half a decade. I'll believe it when I see it.

But more than that, this is a movie that would be incredibly hard to keep under wraps to this point, and you're going to tell me Brandon freaking Robinson is the one to break it? Sorry, but I'm not falling for that one.

Really starting to think he stays.

There’s no realistic option in which he can beat GS and it comes with excessive amount s of pressure.

In Cleveland, there’s no pressure.

He’s losing to GS no matter where he goes this year so might as well lose in Cleveland and see what happens in 2019

All this talk about some being OK to take on Melo IF PG13 comes with him gets me thinking of...….Would Lebron just go to OKC for a year so other things can happen to setup LA(like Kawhi and such). There are rumors of PG13 staying in OKC......Melo being buds with Lebron....

Could do a sign and trade with OKC and fit in LeBron's contract pretty easy.

Westbrook
Lebron
PG13
Melo

But lets say LeBron stays....Should be equally easier enough to bring in Melo and PG13 and trade Sexton for Kemba…

Cavs out: Hill, TT, Clarkson and Osman
Cavs in: Melo, PG13 and Kemba
Hornets: Sexton

Kemba
Lebron
PG13
Nace jr. (Melo off bench)
Love

The smartest thing to do would be to try to instill a strong system for the young player and grow as a team defensively. Try to develop some of these scorers we have. None of the moves make you into the favorite to win it, you might as well try to grow into a team like the Celtics that are better than their parts.

I have no doubt Cedi and Zizic could have contributed last year if they had been given more playing time. Same with Sexton this year. Make it a priority to get Hood and Nance integrated. Work harder with the analytics guys on where our dudes can be most effective. That is something that Lue has refused to do before.

agreed but none of this is happening if lue is here. he will simply ride lebron until the wheels fall off and watch him waste another year of his prime carrying the entire team.

why the hell is lue still employed? he needs to go no matter what happens. just do it already

Totally agree. And that won't be easy. I think right now, based on the current rosters, only the Celtics would be favorites to beat the Warriors with Lebron added.

Houston is fools gold, he'd be an idiot to go there. The Rockets would have to strip the team to get Lebron and then be dependent on the forever injured CPIII. It's a mortal lock that CPIII will end up watching most of the Warriors series from the bench with some random injury, while Harden misses three pointers and competes with Lebron to be the alpha. Plus, the city sucks. Lebron's family would probably die in a flood if he goes there.

IMO the Spurs would need both Kawhi and Lebron to be competitive, and it seems like they might not keep him. But some part of me would love to see what Pops could do with both of them healthy.

LA if they get PGIII *and* Kawhi (seems very doubtful), or the Sixers if they get Kawhi could also do it. But just adding Lebron to the current rosters of both those teams might not be enough.

Houston makes sense based on fit. They're heavy on isolation plays and love spreading the floor to let CP3/Harden go to work in the pick and roll. Lebron would fit into that system because that's been his bread and butter since coming back to Cleveland. They have a nice balance of shooters and plus defenders too.

My question would be: What does Houston lose to get Lebron and does that mess up the offensive system/depth they already have? A Lebron/CP3(questionable health?)/Harden with a weak supporting cast doesn't sound like a team capable of beating the Warriors to me.

Edit: When you're wondering how all three of those guys can coexist, remember the same questions were raised when Paul first went there. Him and Harden turned into a great duo and I'm willing to bet someone like Paul would sacrifice touches for the team if Lebron came.

I think an opt in trade to Houston is the only one that makes sense. Otherwise he is wasting a year of his career on a team that is likely to be worse than next years Cavs if Sexton is somewhat decent. LA with George is not better than the Cavs. Philly with LeBron is a disaster waiting to happen (Embiid injuries, and no shooting Simmons).

The Spurs could be interesting, but I'm not sure they're better than the Cavs with Kawhi if that were the route he wanted to go.

I can easily see an opt in, and waot until next off season. There is no tailor made destination if Pop won't trade Kawhi to LA (because Paul, LBJ, and Kawhi would be better than GS)

Disagree or not I stand by my opinion. If we are built to compete fine but another season like last year is not going to be fun. Put players that move the needle around LeBron or let's start this dam rebuild.

It's bull shit getting man handled by GS. Watching LeBron carry bums on his back. Letting kyrie go for nothing and sending useful players out the door. Bring in useless GM the doesn't know a difference between his ass and a hole in the ground. Watching seasons where no one gives a shit till the playoffs start and coach that looks lost.

Let the red X''s start now

I actually agree with you. I only gave you the red X because you really seemed to want it.
