LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Leadership has VERY little to do with play on the court. Yes, a leader needs to show passion and play hard, but it's far more about supporting your coach and being an example. I'm not sure if LeBron is being a leader when it comes to making sure his teamates are buying into the system. And if he isn't, they he's a poor leader--regardless of his stat line.

The most interesting part of that article, is that Woj (rightfully, IMO) said that it was a different LeBron James out there last night. It was the LeBron we have been waiting for. And he's right, that is the LeBron we need every night.

So if LeBron has in fact decided to put his power play games on the backburner and just focus on being the best player in the world, then it's now up to Blatt to make a strong effor to push past his shortcomings and hold up his responsibilities. Because I mostly like they guy, but last night LeBron brought it and Blatt did not.
i think it's important to keep in mind his intentions, too. him "focusing on being the best player in the world" doesn't mean he's put his power play games on the backburner; that itself could be a powerplay. what if they won last night? he could easily turn around and say 'oh hey guys, see how you were embarrassed by a bunch of bad teams without me? ya, now i'm back, and we've already beaten a really good western conf team. realize my importance yet??" he had to show up last night no matter what, to really demonstrate what kind of difference he makes in the team.

whether it was his intention or not, the cavs performance without him did nothing but strengthen his position in his power play attempts.

That guy's takes on what he thought he was seeing are sensationalistic and stupid. Prob got him tons of page views tho.
For sure he turned a drama movie to an action movie with the words he put behind the images, but still it bothers me looking at these videos and their vibe... Isn't it?

I'm not in support of LeBron ignoring Blatt but I've always said respect is earned not given, especially in this league.Blatt's inability to make sure this team had a .500 record while he was out probably erased the little respect Bron did have for him. Not surprising anymore if LeBron feels he's not ready for this job. 1-8? Not surprised at all

I do agree. But then again, for all I know Blatt is a crap coach. Or at least not the right coach for this situation. So he is doing the right thing by getting him ousted. Realistically, we really don't know.

Yes. This is definitely a chicken/egg scenario. Did players stop buying because Blatt sucks, or are other players who should be leaders undercutting a rookie coach? No way to know without more information. Hopefully, they all decide to follow Blatt and turn this shit around, because I'm not sure this season can survive a new coach. But, maybe I'm wrong.

Honestly a big issue last night was Irving. Whether he was sick, high or something else he was basically erasing all the good LeBron/J.R was doing out there. He was walking on d, hiding in the corner. If he's against the coach and would rather lose and have him moved then we have a huge problem. At least LeBron's ego and competitive spirit will only allow so much losing. Don't count on Kyrie

Not really. Most of what that dunce said is wrong. LeBron wasn't even in the game half the time. Fedor-esque trolling.

People get so angry at Woj for speaking the truth.

Too funny. People would have been loving that same article had it been written about the Heat.

That's not true. I've been on this Woj kick for years. He's written that same basic article about James since he went to Miami and it isn't like I was a James fan then. It's just so damn obvious that the guy has some sort of vendetta against James and it seems quite unprofessional.

Eh.

He tends to have different details each time. And LeBron does enough douche-chill inducing stuff that it makes sense that a writer with some balls would have material on him.

I like it. Keeps the universe in order and keeps the microscope on a guy who's a total egomaniac.

It has been stories written by national media and it has been talked about national writers that Woj had a personal vendetta against Lebron. He was removed from getting scoops by James people and has written several articles with little to no facts about James since then. Here's the article if you feel like reading it about Woj.

The Biggest reporter in the game Vs the Biggest name and player in the game. Personally I like Woj, that said this has been going on a while and he is trying to point out LeBron is not as perfect as he wants us to think. The thing we already know this I mean it should be common knowledge. LeBron this time around basically said this will be the hardest and longest challenge he will face yet. He was not lying about that however the struggle with in is those in the NBA want coaches who coached in the NBA. Blatt was doomed the moment LeBron signed. They gave him a shot and just like every other LeBron team this will work its self out one way or another.

Good info and didn't know about a lot of it. Thank you.

I still like reading some negativity about LeBron from time to time because i feel that the Cavs don't keep him in check. So someone needs to.
