Well, the site isn't completely done. We plan on doing more to the site as the months go by, but I decided it would be best if we launched the site before the playoffs would end.

A good friend of mine, a local club Dj decided to participate and created a mixtape for the members who donate. 1st 100 donators will get a mixtape. A donation would need to be $5 or more, a certain amount will be used to ship your Cd, and the rest will stay in the Campaign's account.

For those of you who don't know about this campaign, this is just a response to the famous nycforlebron.com site.

We don't want to buy LeBron a Ferrari or Yankees club seats, all we are trying to do is gather up enough money to purchase a billboard in Downtown Cleveland during LeBron's 2010 contract negotiation. The message hasn't been chosen, but I am confident that we will come up with something creative to let LeBron know that we do indeed care about him and his future here in Northeast Ohio.

I will update everyone on our financial status regarding this campaign. Our goal amount at most is $7000 by 2010, at the least, $5000. I feel these are numbers are obtainable, especially if we promote this thing hard.

I'll start by donating $50 dollars.

If you would like to donate, just click here

*Standing Ovation*

by the way, where do you get these high resolution images?

Anyway we can set this up as a 501(c)(3)? I got a sweet tax write-off on the hundred bucks I gave the "Get Tyrelle Prior" fund.

Good Job Glen. I salute you. I just donated to the cause and I will continue to give more as time goes on. Good Stuff and Go Cavs!

I'm sure the local DJ is good...but what about Jay Z :king:

Who knows? Anything can happen, but I'm sure Jay wants him all to himself. :chuckles:

Not sure really, I know that Jay-Z diss is on it. lol

Standing ovation for you, Glenn. But you sure you want to wait until 2010 for the billboard? Any way that this can be done by the time the 2009-10 season tips off?

It all depends on our cashflow. I'd like to do small banners around the city to gain more attention before the big one.
