I'm curious if I'm in the minority but the Cavs have really lost me. I've lived out of state since 2002 and have made the investments to ensure I could watch every minute of every game since I left.
Yet this year I find myself, outside of reading the few posters I follow on here, completely uninterested in the team. I barely watch games or read any articles anymore.
It seems like the team has taken on the joyless/static demeanor of Jeff Green. Never happy, sad, angry, anything. Seriously watch the guy, he has the same facial expression all the time, a blank stare.
I found that i enjoyed the Cavs the most when JR, Channing, and Delly were out there just having fun. Its like we turned into a team full of Tim Duncans without the execution. I dunno, this team seems to over it and they have caused me to be over them.
I don't have a specific target in mind, but get some guys in here that enjoy the game, enjoy smashing the hopes and dreama of other teams, and show this type of energy.
And I'm still glad Kyrie is gone.
*stepping off soapbox*
I stopped watching early in the season before Cedi started getting minutes, but you're right. It's basically joyless basketball right now.
Only potentially saving grace is that IT normally does play the game the way you describe. So if he gets healthy and gets his flow back....maybe.
Otherwise, I'm right there with you. Very little interest in this team, which diminishes further whenever the usual LBJ soap opera issues emerge.
