Kyrie is laughing his ass off and rightly so

Wrong player left town , this team doesnt give a flying fuck how they play
DO NOT TRADE THE #1 Pick

Fuck Lebron and his bullshit drama

Still don't think they beat the Cavs in the playoffs though so I'm not sure how much he'll laugh

At what point will Lue switch the starting lineup? It might be effective against GSW but any other team is going to beat up on Crowder and Love. Also Steve Kerr could easily just insert a center into his starting lineup and beat up on the Cavs.

It's a matchup lineup and nothing more. Use it when the matchup presents itself. Tonight Lue could have easily experimented with a IT-lebron-Crowder-Green-Tristan lineup to see if that slowed down OKC. Lue is too worried about spreading around minutes to see we need to use this teams depth to match up better. If Love doesn't say he sick, I bet we would have seen Love on Steve Adams all night.

So most of the year this team has started a 37 year old PG a 6'6 PF and a 6'9 1/2 C who can't jump and has never defended the rim and have now added a 5'9 PG to replace Calderon and yet people wonder why this teams defense went from terrible to historically bad since his return ... Add that to lackluster effort and you have what we are witnessing now

I didn't see the game today, but for Love to get 3 minutes, obviously something is up.

I get that he got dominated early by Adams, but to not even come back to him at all is very telling. There is something going on.....

Trade? Sending a message about his defense? Was he an "agenda" guy?

I don't know....but 3 mins in a game is indicative of a major issue at hand.

I'm starting to think as we lob all of these trade suggestions around, Love will be a critical piece. I've just got a hunch he's on the way out for a more mobile defender.

But that's the problem, Lue doesn't change his starting lineup, whether it's Smith, Love, or anything else. People are making quips about my username on the Love thread over the flu thing, but they forget that I've always been very objective about his defensive limitations against players like Adams. Love doesn't have the strength or foot speed to guard most of the mobile, stronger bigs, and even though I'm a fan, I can admit that is a huge weakness of Love's. There are games where he needs to be moved back to his natural spot. Although with the way Tristan has been playing lately, the Cavs might as well experiment more with Frye.

Someone like Fizdale gets let go for being tough but nonchalant push over Lue still has a job

Also add to that the defensive scheme is to not fight switches and just guard whoever you can pick up. Lue hasn't scheme to hide IT or has a SG capable of taking on the opposing teams best guard.

Completely agree. I'd prefer Lue to just play guys based off of match up and rest guys instead of all this spreading of minutes. Two lineups isn't going to cut it in the playoffs. There are way better ways to use this depth. Everyone seems to regress because their minutes are spread so thin.

The front office might just have to get rid of guys for betterment of the team. I don't know which of those guys it should be but the rotation needs to pair down so guys are playing minutes in the 30's not the low 20's.

He had the flu

The best is when he had IT and Rose in at the same time today and the lead went from 9 to 17 in the blink of an eye with Rose finding himself guarding Melo on two straight possessions

I'm at work, got a notice of the score on my phone and involuntary said what the fuck out loud

Someone explain how we let someone score 150
