Things I dislike:

The expectations of our off-season signings and the crushing reality of how pedestrian they actually were.

The fact that we won't cut Bynum in January.

The lack of talent in the last 3 drafts and the players chosen in those drafts.

Mike Brown's offense. Everything about it. If I had a nickel for every inevitable bad shot taken I'd be Bill mofo Gates right now.

The fact that I was so goddamned excited to watch this team, and it ends up that I enjoyed watching the Cavs led by B-Diddy more than this squad. I enjoyed watching a team more that lost 27 games in a row than this team. That is so sad.

I hate that the organization continues to be the butt of the joke nationally.


Things I like: This thread and this website in general. The upcoming draft. Still having naive hope for this team.

The Brown hire is going to cripple this franchise. You simply can't bring in a coach on such a young team that has zero charisma. These guys are not willing to go to war for Brown. He has nobody's respect. If he has been in the business this long and still can't motivate, I don't see anything changing. Everyone on the team looks worse than we expected. Everyone.

I'm not giving Brown any benefit of the doubt. He is already on the hot seat in my view. Do we really want this guy handling another lottery pick next year? It may look awful to outsiders, but I would not hesitate to can this guy at the end of the season if significant progress is not made. I don't want to punt another 2 or 3 seasons because the front office is scared to admit they failed miserably. They already screwed us once by keeping him around too long last tenure. Don't let history repeat itself.

Screw Mike Brown: didn't like him in the past and didn't like him when he was rehired
Screw Chris Grant for not interviewing anybody else and giving Brown a 5 year deal
Screw Bennett for being so out of shape that even after 3 months healthy he looks fat
Screw Tristan Thompson: you're game was always ugly but you keep throwing us bones like shooting right handed to make us think you have some coordination in your body somewhere to make yourself into an actual basketball player

I hate not knowing who to blame. The players, the coaches, who knows. It pisses me off to see great talent go to waste for god knows what reason. What if we're one simple fix away from being good, but the coaches can't figure it out or the players won't listen. It's something, but when you look at the other bad teams, we just don't deserve to be there. We should be going through the young players type losses where there is more like 40 minutes of effort and those last minutes kill you. Not 8 minutes of effort and the rest you just close your eyes and hope it's not a fucking blowout.

Mike Brown. I wanted him out after the Orlando series and he had done nothing to change my mind. He looks as bad as ever.

Chris Grant. For somehow thinking Mike Brown could handle this. The fact that they brought him back tells me that Grant only fired him to appeal to LBJ. Which means he didn't actually notice all of the coaching short-comings. Which means Grant has no clue when it comes to coaching. But worst of all is the five year deal. Good night nurse.

Id just like to say fu to all the guys who scolded me saying the team would take a step back by changing Coaches. Its quite clear they have with a better roster. Although I think they will recover these first 20 games were completely unnecessary

I saw this team come out against the Heat and move the ball on offense like I hadn't seen before this season. The ball flowed around the perimeter, in and out of the post, and quickly... and we had what looked like an offense at times.

Then we play Boston and I'm expecting more of the same and yet... it's all ISOs and jumpers and garbage hero ball (a.k.a. dribbling for turnovers) for the most part.

What the hell happened? It honestly seems like the players themselves wanted to win the Heat game, but other than that, the players just want to lose until Mike gets turfed. Which is disturbing... for professionals... if that's what they are indeed doing. Kyrie is saying he wants to win and is preaching defense... but this team is literally worse defensively than Byron Scott's team and if that's the only reason we hired Brown then he had better start figuring it out before he's gone.

I hate Chris Grant. I never got his hiring in the first place. He was Ferry's protege so why even fire Ferry in the first place if you're gonna turn around and hire his bitch. Except for the obvious pick (KI) this guy has fucked it up pretty good. With his advanced analytics and shit, he's suppose to find diamonds in the rough to build the roster. Are we gonna go forward with a GM who's gonna take keep fucking up the draft if no prospect is the obvious choice?

Jarrett Jack sucks.

Management did a great job of stock piling this team with 6'3 guards and 6'8 power forwards.

I wouldn't even say Bennett is 6-8, he's like 2 more inches than Dion. But I see what your saying, I have every reason to hate the Cavs right now because I disagreed with everything they did except drafting Irving. I thought Grant knew what he was doing until that surprise TT pick, I pretty much was pissed then which lead me all the way to not giving a shit now.

This franchise is in the shitter and it's clogged big time, it's going to take more than a snake.
