Raptors fans are going to be so pissed lmao

Raptors fans are the biggest bunch of whiners I have ever seen. They are seriously delusional over there. We beat them with a team of D-leaguers and they still complain that we are trying to tank and should be punished by the league.

Exactly. They kept talking about how much of loser franchise we were and how Lebron left. Which is ironic since all their stars have left and they have almost no playoff success. Their franchise highlight is still a dunk contest

It would be great sight to see if the Raptors, up by 8 with 3 minutes left in the game. have the fans rush the court, causing a forfeit. Would the NBA declare a forfeit win instead of a forfeit loss?

If three way tie for third worst, there are two separate coin flips correct? Cavs could drop all the way to 7 if they win right?

Looks like the Tank Squadron...err...Cleveland Cavaliers are ready to go for tonight!

1 Team gets #3 Odds, another #4, and another #5. I do believe.

(Small Guess)

If I'm not mistaken:The averages of 3,4, and 5 spots are taken, coin flips would determine seeding if it isn't an even integer. In 3 way tie, there would be 363 chances, or 121 a piece. We would still have the odds of dropping as a#5 pre-lottery in that situation, which would give us a .4% chance at sliding all the way down to 8. Worst case scenario.

Can somebody correct me if that's wrong? Would there even be a coin toss since the average of all the lottery chances is even?

Edit: The result of the coin flip is also used to determine who receives the earlier pick in the event that neither of the tied teams wins one of the first three picks via the lottery.

This whole 3-way tie is confusing as hell, and I can't wait for it all to be over.

DrEnoch - everything you said is right about a 3-way tie. They also need the coin flip (or "random drawing", however it works) to determine how to slot the #3, #4, and #5 team in the second round of the draft. The coin flip does not affect the ping-pong-ball combinations (they are split evenly as you said) but it does affect what happens in the first round if those teams don't win the lottery and what happens in the 2nd round.

#UCDavisHealthSystem Injury Update: Marcus Thornton (quad contusion) is OUT tonight vs. Lakers. #KingsAllDay
https://twitter.com/#!/SacramentoKings/statuses/195584802504720384

So Thornton is out for the 4th game in a row tonight, leaving Travis Outlaw to start at SF, moving Tyreke to SG (and keeping Isiah Thomas at point).

What does this mean for our tank? The Cousins/JThomp/Outlaw/Tyreke/Isiah unit seems to have kept up with a the Thunder on Tues (albeit w/o Harden). It's probably a better defensive, less shot-happy starting unit than with Thornton, which bodes well. Tonight they play the Lakers- LA is keeping Kobe, Pau and Bynum out- even better. https://twitter.com/#!/sam_amick/statuses/195586322151387136

Your underwhelming Lakers lineup for tonight's game at Sacramento, per coach Mike Brown: Ramon Sessions, Steve Blake, "possibly" Christian Eyenga, Josh McRoberts & Jordan Hill. Kobe Bryant, as I tweeted earlier, will not play and thereby yields in the scoring title race to Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant.

So we're leaving it up to good old Sessions, and possibly Eyenga to blow for the Lakers on purpose.

So we're leaving it up to good old Sessions, and possibly Eyenga to deliver a KO blow to the Lakers for us.

Let's hope Sessions has his blinders on and Eyenga was exhausted after his orgy last night.

In regards to the scenario where those three tied teams all don't fall in the top 3 picks I assume they'd do it as they do the picks in the 20's and others when there is a tie, which I thought I read was by random drawing. Not by coin flip.

Easier to pick 3 names out of a box than do a 3 way coin toss.
