Let's Talk about Jesus Christ, Creation, and Whether You Believe or Not

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ah, the founder of Christianity as we know it. He liked his gospels a la carte, and told Arius to shut the fuck up.

little do you know, Constatine or however it is spelled tried to destroy all the Bibles and destroy Christianity and conquer Jerusalem for its rich "religious" history... But that didn't work out in his favor.. so he created Islam to destroy and conquer.. yet, his legacy still fails.

Without mentioning a bible verse, or the bible...

Can someone prove to me with physical evidence that, boom, God made everything? Specifically the thread creator.
Yeah... you can go read my other posts.

The key is that this is prophisized BEFORE the event.

Thus, there is no free will involved. The event will happen no matter what.

So now that free will is no longer part of the equation, there is no point to this entire test, as God already knows the outcome of our judgement before we even make our way to the "gate"

But life isn't really a test but a gift. And the prophecies in the Bible aren't really all that specific, they're just generalities that could be interpreted in an infinite number of ways. This is why many Christian religions do not interpret anything outside of the Gospels as being literal.

I don't think even the Pope actually believes in the literal interpretation of the Bible outside of the Gospels.

We tried that.. didn't get very far. Pretty much ignored me.

I have.

There hasn't been a single post showing physical, observable evidence that what you're saying is factual.

It's a theory. You theorize that, because randomness exists and life elsewhere "doesn't exist", that one individual created everything. No facts, just a belief that a revised copy of a book of stories passed down for hundreds of years is the truth.

Who created God?

OK, tell me, if you want to be judged by the deeds of your life, elaborate on your model "heaven worthy" life?

If you read my post you'd see I said that Catholics do not believe that salvation can be earned. So nothing can be worthy of heaven... According to the Bible; it's only by the Grace of God that Man is saved, not by any action of his own.

so he created Islam to destroy and conquer.. yet, his legacy still fails.

So, you introduce bigotry (and stupidity) into the discussion?

What kind of person who actually followed Christ would say something like this?

Also, if god created the heavens and the earth.

Who created god? Or was he just there? This directly contradicts any point that everything couldn't have just been here in the first place, because the argument seems to be that god was just here in the first place.

And it didnt take too long for you to resort to your personal attacks.

Did you not just claim that Constantine created Islam for nefarious purposes?

I'm making a statement of fact. No real Christian would say something so gross about 1.6 billion people.

Elaborate, using scripture, not catholic tradition.

"Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?" (Matthew 15:1-3)

God is not too pleased with traditions of man that have nothing to do with Him. Amen.

In other words, if God didnt say it, dont say it.

Jesus Christ our LORD said that everybody will have to give account on the day of judgment for every idol word they ever spoke... that sounds like a terrible day for those that love to talk but never say a thing.

Depends on who you ask, but generally most Christians would argue that God has always existed; just as the vacuum ground state has always existed. Think of God as a property of reality rather than something within reality, then the question more or less answers itself.

(However, some other Christians would argue that "God" is a child, with siblings, to a Mother Goddess.. but that's another conversation)
