Matthew Dellavedova

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So Delly had a rough start down under, but he is on a massive tear. Word is he may have fixed his shot.

Can we just trade Pangos to Australia?

Melbourne United couldn’t fit Pangos under the salary cap will have to be Goodwin

I combined a couple of my posts today just to bring Delly's thread back.

Here is my solution to the problem of Rubio not playing the first 6 weeks of the season. Sign Delly to a minimum non guaranteed contract and let him know he may be cut on the date when contracts become guaranteed.

We know Delly will run the offense and get the ball where it belongs and he can still pester the hell out of the other teams pg on D. Some times all you need is a short term answer for a short term problem. After and if you cut Delly, keep him around as a coach.

Delly is still playing.

He is still on the Melbourne United roster. Here are some stats from last year.
27 games, 11 pts., 5 assists, 38 % from 3.

This is from 2 weeks ago.

Melbourne United stars Matthew Dellavedova and Jack White have both been selected to the Australian Boomers 12-man team ahead of its upcoming World Cup Qualifier games.

Coming off an All-NBL season, donning the green and gold is nothing new for Dellavedova, who has represented Australia at the past three Olympic Games, and past two FIBA World Cups.

Dellavedova, who has been working out in the US during the offseason, spoke about his anticipation leading into the qualifiers.

“I'm excited to be able to pull on the green & gold on home soil for three home games in Melbourne. The games are going to be tough and competitive, can’t wait to get started.”

A Delly and Rubio combo as backup point guards wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the league, that combined iq would be astronomical. They’d probably be solving global crises while sitting on the bench

Word out of the Bay Area is Delly made the Kings roster as third point guard, beating out Quinn Cook.

This also means he returns to his role as de facto offensive coordinator and development coach for clueless Mike Brown.

This guy… you can’t tell me he shouldn’t have an end to his career like Andy Varejao in Cleveland. However, what is his concussion count. Higher than Andrew Luck for sure.

When the fuck are we gonna bring him back as a coach? Fucking hell. I need this to happen.

Looks like Mike Brown took that personally…
