Connor was super out of his element, but held his own way better than I thought. Easy, safe win for Floyd to get to 50.

Unfortunate that this is all just a test of stamina over anything. Connor would kill him in any sort of real fight, but not in this arena. He will just get applauded for stepping out of his arena up to the top elite of their field.

Predictable. Pretty safe bets for everyone and they got their money. Kind of sad, but everyone was watching in case of an upset.

He won four rounds, soundly.

I was shocked Byrd even let it get to the other side of the ring... Should have been stopped when he literally couldn't lift his arms.

Most fun Mayweather fight in a long, long time, though.

McGregor was getting his ass beat, wasn't defending himself, and just kept getting hit with bombs. He wasn't throwing punches either. Ref was right to stop it. He was clearly gassed and couldn't fight back any more.
 
I thought McGregor was ahead after the first 7 rounds, but ran out of gas... if he had better stamina, maybe he could have pulled off the upset. But, he wore himself out I guess.
 
I'd honestly pay money to see McGregor switch sports and get legit training and fight people who aren't the best ever.

That uppercut in round one and the start to round 4 honestly finish a decent amount of boxers.

I have about 5 people who've never watched boxing texting me how it was rigged because he never fell.

If he fell, he would have fell out of the ropes, and he'd probably leave on a gurney.

Honestly the ref coulda called it the round prior.

Props to Connor, guy got paid.

Thunder Lips vs Rocky was more compelling.

Floyd gives terrible interviews. He sounds retarded.

He was ahead after 7 I think it may have been tied up in the 9th and then the 10th he ran out of gas. I just feel a lot of these Mayweather fights recently have been mostly scams to get him to an inflated win total. His best fight was 10 years ago fighting De La Hoya and that was a Split Decision. Pacquio just wasn't into it anymore (Philipino congress and all).

Floyd doesn't really hit hard anymore. McGregor couldn't get his feet under him to properly set and throw.

I just think boxing has become so watered down in the past 15 - 20 years.

At the same time does Floyd have any real power in his punches anymore?

Would a more avg boxer with legit power just floor conner?

No, it's called a hammer fist punch, and typically results in a warning, then a point deduction. Connor got away with it about a dozen or so times... but, I don't think Mayweather even asked for an intervention, nor did his corner.. Quite telling.
