His last 3 years at WVU were a combined 32-5.

Tressell is 33-6 in his last 3 years, in what is sadly a much better conference.

Please, let's not bring up DickRod's choke job against freaking PITT two years ago either.

The kings of spin at UM, when a player de-commits it's because Michigan just didn't want/need him that bad. When a player transfers it's because he didn't fit the system and he wasn't that good.

When 2 or 3 other coaches shoot you down, you say DickRod is the guy you wanted all along.

Just give it up with the spin, it's an awful era for Michigan football...but they'll be back again with whoever they hire in 2-3 years to replace DickRod.

As shocking as it may be to some of you, I am a UM fan. But, as I argued with George after his hiring...and I will with any UM fan...how can you defend the hiring of Rich Rodriguez?

He not only is known for bringing in questionable players (PacMan Jones, Chris Henry), he also threw his own alma mater under the bus, in a position that he said was the pinnacle of his career, no less. He can't win when it matters, and has blatantly told the most passionate of UM fans to "Get a Life" when referring to "The Game." His attitude to that, as well as his "me before the U" attitude is the complete opposite of what UM's reputation was built on. He is the UM version of John Cooper, questionable character guys (but great athletes). folds in the big games, and no care for the most important game of the year. He is all about Rich Rodriguez, not the University of Michigan. And any Michigan supporter who can't see that is blinded by his or her maize and blue colored glasses.

More importantly, how can you be proud of him or current AD Bill Martin? Martin has not once, but twice, blatantly stolen a coach from WVU, then convinced the new coach to renege on his contractual obligations for a buyout to the point of counter-suing WVU to not pay. Unfortunately, that is the definition of scum. I am disgusted by this turn of events in the University to which I am a passionate fan in an unholy land. Players have left to the arch rival, of all places...this, because they had no faith in the coach to uphold the Michigan ideals that they were taught under Carr. UM is a top tier institution, and they, along with ND, have sullied their reputations with their current coaching hires. I honestly wish theat both would just fire the current regime and start over with someone who actually cares about UM's (and ND's) reputation as an institution of higher learning and great football.

one more year of mediocre football from us then watch out...

Tate is a clone of Colt McCoy...born to be a spread QB...he can move for a white boy very accurate strong arm natural leader smart kid... he is also enrolled early so he has the early edge for being the starter on opening day

and Denard is a Pat White remake...Florida wanted him badly but Tebow didnt leave and we said he could come up and play QB and we offered his best friend and teamate...this kid is a dynamic runner...not a very good passer yet though but either was Pat White at his age

bad part is both of these kids are true frosh so we are going to kind of suck again this year...we will look good at times and really really bad at times....O Line should be better and WRs and RBs should be better as well although McGuffie had to transfer home to Texas(Rice)

Defense will also hopefully be imprved so overall you will see a vastly improved product BUT we will struggle at QB yet again and IMO the college game is based around QB play so that will determine our season

should be interesting....hoping for bowl eleigibility this year obviously.... we should make enough improvement for that... anything under would be a major disapointment and anything over would be a nice surprise

the year after that Rod will be expected to be back int he frey for Big Ten titles and what not....transition will hopefully be in full swing by then

You thinking that Michigan will be good after one more year of sucking because of a couple unproven running backs playing quarterbacks shows the lack of talent on the roster. Im not even positive that Pryor will turn out to put up numbers like McCoy and you think that because Florida wanted this player that he will be the savior???

LLLLLoyd Car doe not look like such a bad coach after all.
