9 men in the box and Cryor is done. Only thing that beat Michigan the last few years is the run game...more specifically, Beanie. You'll get to know Tate Forcier and William Campbell real well in the coming years :) Y'all had a good run. Get ready for some disappointments!

Appy State and Toledo and Northwestern and Purdue all beat Michigan in the last few years, too.

After a touchdown, when asked why he went for two point conversion despite a 36-point lead against Michigan, Woody Hayes quipped, "Because I couldn't go for three."

i know a lot of you think its great michigan is doing horrible.. but to be honest. Michigan being horrible this season really was a reason a lot of press didnt think you guys even deserved to keep moving up in the polls.

When Ohio State and Michigan are not at the top of the big ten together... the other team is going to get hurt by it. The big ten is considerd a joke basically because the two teams are not at the top together. Also the rivalry is not fun at all.. i mean wouldnt you guys get more pleasure beating a team with 10 wins then 3 wins?

So all ohio state fans should be praying Michigan gets back to its old winning ways (atleast againts teams other then Ohio State) because like i said... when those two are not at the top honestly no one cares about the Big 10 in the media or college world.

You're right...Getting the #7 recruiting class, players that fit the new system, and getting the first Rodriguez year (always does bad 1st year) out of the way, doesn't improve our chances dramatically, if not at all. We'll probably be 2-10 this season! Thanks for the wake-up call buddy. :thumbdown

Are you bragging to Ohio State fans about the #7 recruiting class?

I don't (no longer, at least) share the disrespect my fellow OSU fans tend to show towards Michigan.

However, the next two years of this rivalry already belong to Ohio State. Once Rod's recruiting class hits their junior year, it'll get interesting. Very, very interesting.

You think that because Beanie graduated, that Michigan will put 8 men in the box and that will just...magically...erase Pryor from the game? Because if that were true...I'm thinking a couple of teams (like...Michigan) would have done so - if it were that easy.

One thing you need to get straight is that many fans are hoping Michigan turns it around sooner rather than later. The rivalry deserves it, and it will happen - hopefully in as little as two seasons.

And if you think OSU WR's aren't talented, Devier Posey is a name you might want to look into. Not to mention Cris Carter's son will be a freshman this year, along with other 4 star WR's.

No I'll take UM only 3 games a year anyday over 10 wins. I could care less that the UM game hurts our SOS a little at the end of the day if OSU goes 12-0 they will go to the NCG.

Who is worse right now? Michigan Wolverines football, Detroit Pistons, or Detroit Lions.
It should be a no brainer Lions, but im not so sure, the other two are trying to pass them up.

I really don't give a damn whether Michigan is 11-0 or 0-11 when we play them, I still get a big satisfaction out of kicking their ass. As for the National media thinking we're a joke, I don't care about that either, we have been a joke and will continue to be a joke until Tressel's offensive play calling becomes a little less predictable and he pursues out of state recruits more heavily.

You mean like Malcolm Jenkins, James Laurinaitis, Lamaar Thomas, Doug Worthington, Cam Heyward, Keith Wells, Willie Mobely, Garrett Goebel, Dorian Bell, Jordon Whiting, Larry Grant, Chimdi Chekwa, Donald Washington, Anderson Russell, Travis Howard, Etienne Sabino, Duron Carter, James Jackson, Jamaal Berry, Terrelle Pryor, Mike Brewster, JB Shugarts, Carlos Hyde, Dominic Clarke, ect., ect.

Tressel's recruiting should not be in question, especially after the last 3 years.

THANK YOU!!!

He is also now doing a GREAT job getting speed on this team. Next year we are going to have some fast LB's, Our backfield with pyor and berry will be the fastest in college football.

We do need some new coaches though.

Pryor developing as a passer is more important than new coaches IMO.

Tress will coach to the level of his talent, no more, no less.

It's how he's always been and I'm OK with it, but with this step up in recruiting that's happened over the last 3 years it is going to be a fun time to be a Buckeye fan.

Look out for Nick Montana (Joe's son) in this upcoming class of 2010, and Braxton Miller in 2011. You give Tressel a talented QB to work with and some solid WRs, their offense will be special like it was under Troy Smith. He hasn't had that but once in his tenure at OSU, and their offense was great under it.

thats a dumb comment

if you give any coach a great QB chances are the offense is going to be good... duhh

btw that teams defense was pretty special too but I am sure it was all because Tress finally had a QB

Tress is a great coach has a great team almost every year and has owned UM.... Rich has taken a university and is completely rebuilding it in a different direction and needs some time... when he gets his players in and his system in place we will see what happens

if Tress continues his dominance at that point than UM will most likly be out shopping for another coach... but I am assuming we will begin to win at least a few more ball games against OSU than the past few years

and for those saying it doesnt matter what kind of season UM has... you guys kill me... typical... lots of you guys running around down here in Columbus.... of course it matters... just like I will be dying for you all to curb stomp USC next year... trust me it matters for the conference

Kind of my point.

I don't see what the defense has to do with the argument at all.

The defense has ALWAYS been good at OSU, but Tress takes a lot of blame for his offense although only once has it been REALLY talented in 2005 with Smith, Ginn, Gonzo, ect.

The step up in recruiting is going to even out the balance of power on that team, and it starts up front on the OL with guys like Brewster, Shugarts, Marcus Hall and Michael Adams.

my point is you give any coach especially a half decent coach a great qb and the offense will be good...that is not limited to Tress
