Moses Brown: What's Up With Him?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My brief scouting report:

Huge and mobile, plays hard, runs the floor and goes after rebounds.

Virtually no basketball skills once he is five feet away from the basket.

Intrigued to see him if placed in the right situation, maybe could be useful for a 5 minute stretch.

Aren't the bolded words what we need off the bench? You can add some basketball skills, but you cannot teach that right there. He is also young so I wouldn't mind seeing us just keep him for the rest of the season with a non-guaranteed for next season.

That’s right the Cavs have been in Miami a few days…

Heat 118
Cavs 37
2 days (and nights) in south beach with no games - would not be surprised if our guys look a tad sluggish at tip-off

They probably all just sit around and play video games anyhow.

If we would have signed TT we might have a problem, he'd be "showing the young guys the ropes", so to speak.

The ropes with basketball or baby making? lol

Do not kid thyself, in South Beach Tristan would be shooting some young club girls his ropes

So the orangish tan colored gentleman over there on that yacht with the pink button down shirt and gold necklaces is in the powdered donut making business and asked me to smell a few different ones that’s he’s gonna have on his menu at his donut food truck..I can’t get this powder out of my nose. I’ve not slept for days now. I’m going to go swimming cause I can’t stop sweating. Oooooh mangos..

I expect all 37 to be from Mobley out of frustration that he's not old enough to get into clubs or bars.
The thing about Mobley (to get real here) is that the young fella is very intelligent, and probably wise beyond his years. I think he's going to maintain a level of discipline through these situations that he will repeatedly encounter, because he's smart enough to know that he has the whole world on a platter if he just doesn't screw it up by being stupid.

Garland and JA are kind of in the same category it seems. They know they have it made and they're steering their own ships in an intelligent way with social media savvy and awareness, etc.

To be honest Lebron was and still is pretty damn good at avoiding the pitfalls that the NBA celebrity life can hold.

These kinds of things are why having the right culture and the right kinds of people across the board is important, and getting rid of the KPJ types who are more prone to haywire behavior and temptations.

Last year with OKC he had 8.6 points and 8.9 rebounds in 21 minutes, including 3.6 offensive boards. Not bad. He stayed out of foul trouble.

From the videos it looks like he's pretty effective in the low post when he gets a smaller man on his back.

But let's not kid ourselves. He's now on his fourth team in three years and we got him for nothing.
