NBA 2k10 My Player

Wow, how long is the D-league? In my first year I came off the bench and by about the 10th game I earned a start...then the very next day I got sent to the D-league. Thankfully it only lasted 5 games, I just tore up the D-League and got a nice player rating boost and got called back up. Wasn't too long after that when I became the full time starter. Haven't looked back since.

This mode is loaded with bugs/weird things though...my team (T'Wolves) played 83 regular season games and finished 46-37. When the season ended I got a choice of 4 teams and the last choice was stick with your "original team", only that my original team was Minnesota and now the game was telling me it was Chicago

I did get 19 drills (instead of the usual 10 i think it is) at the start of my second year though. That was nice...

The D league is like 50 games. Playoffs are 8 teams and in the 1-1-Best of 3 format. I dk why my guy is stuck in the D league, I hope the patch will fix this.

How the hell do you change quarter length? I do not want to start all over again. My god damn center is rated 70+ and is an absolute beast starting for the Wizards. I'm just sick of these 50-60 pt games.

After every game, it keeps telling me I have the opportunity to join another team, but it never gives me an option, so I'm completely confused why the insider keeps telling me about it.

If you have downloaded the patch you can now change the quarter leng in My Player without starting over. To do this just go to the My Player menu and select options and then under preferences scroll down past the audio and you should see the quarter length.

When I go to Options in My Player, it only gives me, My Controller and Presentation. But I found it int he presentation screen as I was typing this. Thanks a ton jon.

Stuck on the knicks and i hate it. I play PG and they always play Nate and I at the same time. They play Nate at two and last game Ben Gordon killed Nate for like 28 points. Ben Gordon would just catch and shoot at the same time. Also Eddy Curry and Larry Hughes always take bad shots and miss wide open shots and i lost assists. I wish i could just ask for a trade.

Ok.... I lied. I'm back into it. Increased my quarters to 8 min each. Both a good and bad thing...

I've started to average 25 points and 16 assists a game. Woaaah there. I think i'll tone it down to 7 minute games and just be a beast. Games take longer but that's fine with me. Now if I can only find some contract numbers.

I hate being on the Pistons with My Player... Ben Gordon plays like his real life counterpart - he's a fucking ball hog and a chucker. I never pass him the ball, because he will try to shoot even if he is in a crowd of 3 people.

I have Larry on my team and he is ben gordon but he dosnt make any of his shots. Not to mention Coach likes to but Nate at three and get gets killed.

Well looks like I'm deleting all my saved files and restarting it all now with the patch. In Feb now but I will make another PF. Will make another athletic PF same size and height but it's just annoying. Gotta detach myself from Earl Porter, great.

Im a scoring PG, and i just made the Nets on a 10 day contract. My first game was against Kobe, so i didnt do so well. The next game i played against the Twolves, and was the leading scorer, and rebounder! Lets hope they dont drop me.

I'm a 6'7 all around PG. I'm still on a 10 day contract with the Bucks. We just came off a 6 game west road trip and by game 3 I had taken Jennings starting spot and have been playing 36mpg averaging 15pts and 10asts. Playing great defense.

The Bucks suck so hard. Redd is a chucker throwing up anything and consistantly shoots terrible 6-25 or 3-19. Luc Prince a Moute our or whatever his name who is playing PF is the biggest ball hog I've ever seen. He'll get a rebound and instead of passing it off to me or whoever I'm in the backcourt with he'll dribble all the way up court and either turn it over or fire up a sucky shot early in the shot clock. I never pass it to him cause I'll never get it back.

Is the 10 day contract 10 in game calandar days or 10 games? Because I'm about 12 in game days into the contract and have played about 7 games on the 10 day contract. Just wondering since I haven't heard yay or nay on weather or not they'll keep me.

Once you get signed for the rest of the year can you still get cut? I'd like to start ball hogging some at the end of the games and takeover so we can get some wins. But I don't now since I'll get dinged for holding the ball too long or taking a bad shot.
