NBA 2K17

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Same. But I just want to actually play in The Park this year for once. I just really don't feel like playing MyCareer or grinding for VC.

How much VC do you need to do that?

Lets just say a lot. Probably around 200,000+. I already bought VC on the prelude and that transferred over. I also got 100,000 VC since I got the Legend Edition, which helped.

Wow. So the big 2k Youtubers who have multiple maxed MyPlayers and like literally 500k to 1 million VC sitting in there account..... some of those people probably spent like 300 bucks at least on VC alone. That is crazy. I mean they are technically getting paid to play the game and I'm sure it easily pays itself off, but still. 2k must make a killing from VC.

Is their something new about The Park this year?

Or is it just the same 3v3 blacktop stuff it has been before?
1v1v1
2v2
3v3
4v4

I love the park for playing with friends.

They fucked up MyTeam and MyTeam (Blacktop) so hard in this game. Only game mode I cared about really since MyPark is full of a bunch of cheesers that steal daddy's credit card to buy a ton of VC, and they just ruined it.

Don't know why I buy this game anymore. The devs are clueless on what they actually need to do to keep the game going, and add pointless shit instead of fixing the core game.

Oh cool, there's blimps in the arenas now during timeouts. By the way, we completely butchered fast break mechanics and two out of every three passes you throw will be picked off by a teleporting defender. Have fun!!!

EDIT: And Jesus Christ, the ratings are so garbage this year, just like they were last year. I know the guy that does them is a friend of a poster on here (whoever that poster is, I think it's Bimbo), so I'm not going to try to crucify him too hard, but ratings are so Goddamn inconsistent. 2K needs to move on from him, or add another guy to the job, because he obviously cannot handle doing it all on his own. Some of the shit is laughably bad.

I don't know. It is probably the same. But I never got to play it before much in the past eitheer because MyPlayer has never had a good rating :chuckle: I just like playing games online and I wouldn't mind trying to play with people on here if possible, because all my friends have Xbox. Online quickmatch used to do it for me, but the online lag is a problem right now. Plus, I just want to try something new. Which The Park basically is for me. I would really like to do Pro Am though, like 5 on 5 official type basketball would be fun to get a team together.

This is probably my biggest issue with the game right now. It's like every single player in the game controlled by AI has a maxed out Interceptor badge and picks off every fucking pass you throw, even if your player is wide open.

The most annoying is when someone cuts to the basket, all alone, nobody near them, and someone either flys from outside the tv screen and intercepts it, or you pass it directly to the guy in front of you (guarding you) for no reason.

Passing is broken as fuck in this game. It is so god damn annoying that throwing a simple pass is such a big fucking risk.

Edit: Also stupid that AI defenders stick to your guys like fucking glue, but when you play defense your players just absolutely die on any screen which leads to the computer getting wide open shots.

Every game I play the computer absolutely murders me in 3 PT%, FTA, and Turnovers.

This is playing Domination on MyTeam, which is on All-Star difficulty.

It is just so unfairly stupid and not remotely realistic.

And don't even get me started on the new timeout menu...

I'm hopeful the patch fixes some of this shit.

89 Stretch Big. PS4
Come at me.

The shots they make and foul calls they get is just absurd...I fucking cheese the shit out of the CPU on offense doing post fadeaways with Dirk/Big Al just so I can have a chance to win the stupid game.

It would probably help my cause if I used better players, as I haven't bought a single pack yet (saving up for when they release better players), but it still shouldn't be like this. My current lineup is an 80 OVR.

Username is Simon0231 on XB1 if anyone wants to get an online league together.

What team in MyCareer did everyone get drafted by?

I got drafted by the Denver Nuggets with the No.7 pick. Finally starting in the starting lineup. Three games in the starting lineup and I have averaged a double-double since starting.

Stats: 24.2 points, 5.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. 52% from three.

I got the game yesterday for PS4 and have been playing a bit online... Brief thoughts:

1) Thunder are really easy to play with on defense. Russ, Oladipo, Roberson, Payne, and Morrow are all really good at getting steals, which is something that is now important in the new meta-game. Moreover, Adams covers for aggressive defensive mistakes.

2) Guys like Kyrie, Westbrook, and Wall can penetrate just as easy off of screens as they can in real life. I thought this was a HUGE improvement compared to other games.

3) LeBron is too slow and poor at driving.

4) I really like the new playbooks. Much more realistic.
