NBA Regular season games thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just outta curiosity, not sure there is an absolute answer.. however, how is it known exactly how many points Wilt has scored throughout his career? Seems odd dating back to 1959-73 that we know exactly how many points he amassed.

They kept track haha, not sure what answer you're looking for. Maybe I'm reading the question wrong, but they had box scores and official statistics even back then.

Lebron not being whistled for a foul for that long? Getting the triple crown in baseball is easier to accomplish.

Gallinari just suffered a knee injury for Denver, carted off the court. Looked like he might be done for a while, which is a shame.

They've got a lot of money tied to Gallo, Mcgee, Lawson and Iggy next year so I'm curious as to what they will do after they find out how bad it is.

Is Ric Bucher smoking crack? The whole theme of this post was that Lillard basically has the ROY locked up. But then he writes this:

" I suppose if anyone has a chance to impact my ballot it is Barnes with a few performances that preserve the sixth seed for the Warriors, but he'd reeeeeally have to do something special."

Um, what? If there is one guy who has a chance to change his mind, it's Harrison Barnes? I don't care that the guy works for GS, that's just plain stupid as hell.

Sort of off the wall, but that Thomas Robinson trade...not working out for Houston so far. This guy has zero touch, at all. He can't shoot FTs, jumpers..nothing. Drafting Thompson saved us from drafting this guy, who looks more and more, by the day, to have totally relied on athleticism in college. Easily the biggest bust so far out of this years lottery group.

patterson > trob was obv a short-term sacrifice for a (hopefully) bright long-term future. in other words, i doubt morey is too concerned about what has happened "so far." especially since it's been less than 2 months and trob was coming from the most poisonous organization in the league (granted, he only spent a few months there as well).

But I expected Robinson to be better. He wasn't supposed to be this much of a "project" coming out. It looked as though he would be able to step out and hit some jumpers from time to time, but that's faar from the case. He can't hit anything that isn't a lay-up. I'm betting if Sacramento thought they were drafting a "project" big, they'd have drafted Drummond, instead. Robinson, at least in my eyes, was supposed to be more NBA ready.

OKC's biggest problem continues to be their inconsistent defense

I hope they refocus in time for their next game at Utah. At least Brooks will have their attention...

I actually saw people on twitter complaining about Westbrook taking too many shots today :chuckles:

Apparently that's just the go-to move when OKC loses.
