New uniform in the works.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I like the white helmets. Can you do a mock of the 3 jerseys with those?

Personally, I was a big fan of when the Browns had numbers on the helmets. It was '57 thru '60.

Here is a concept I saw. They basically just cleaned up our current uniforms, and they look damn good actually.

1. Removing 'Browns' from the pants
2. Remove contrasting stitching
3. Remove dropshadows on numbers
4. Switch number colors. White on Home, Brown on Away
5. Don't extend the shoulder striping onto the front of the jersey.

These are phenomenal honestly.

It looks pretty similar to our old look, but the "sleeves" look cleaner on this at the very least. There aren't sleeves really on football jerseys anymore, and sometimes our attempt to get all five stripes to show on the old uniform didn't work with the cut of a modern NFL jersey.

Am I the only one who did not have a problem with the old uniforms? I don't know, I have always been partial to the classic, staying true to tradition uniforms and helmets. For example, the Chicago Bears have never strayed away from tradition. Even with college uniforms, like Ohio State, Penn State and Notre Dame have all stayed true - for the most part. Obviously, this does not include "combat uniforms" or whatever they are called.

I have never been a fan of "flashy" over the top uniforms/helmets. It always seems like there is too much going on. Just keep it clean, simple, traditional - with a little bit of modern appeal thrown in.

Agree.

Packers/Bears/Raiders/Cowboys etc. all seem to have the best uniforms in the NFL to me.

Hopefully the new uniforms say London on them

Those are my favorite as well, but there are some sweet modern uniforms as well. Atlanta, Arizona, Seattle. There's a way to refresh classic uniforms and that's what we should be aiming for.

I do like the old uniforms a lot. But like I pointed out in my last post, I wouldn't be opposed to cleaning up the "sleeves" a bit. But other than that, they were pretty close to perfect. Bring back the orange pants for occasions, but no other changes.

We don't need the color brown to become the predominant color....because we are not named the Browns after the color. It was after Paul Brown.

Having said that, I really wish that in the next round of new uniforms we utilize gray or silver as the main color. But the chances of this are very slim as Dee Haslam said herself that in the next round it will most likely stay conservative with small changes.

Change the helmet to Brown or White.

I think oldschool uniforms look tired.

I dont like any of them sans the raiders.

College looks infinitely better. A squared is doing work, they look great. Love the grays too.

Idc if we look like va tech or the brown auburn tigers.

Would really like to see the Browns put a Chilean Sea Bass on their helmet....

Fake name, the real name of the fish is the Patagonian Toothfish.

If we are going to use pictures of fake things rather have a picture of a Unicorn or Jesus on the helmet.

I maintain that the brown needs to go. Replace with a dark grey and everything else falls into place. Just because the guys name was Brown, doesn't mean the unis have to look like shit. More brown is not the solution. The orange helmets are iconic.

Yes. Just yes. I mean... the dude was fired and started the Bengals. Yes, it's our name, but that doesn't mean we have to include the color brown.

Maybe go with a combo of dark carbon accented with a lighter gray to replace it. I agree the orange can't go, the helmets are truly the tradition/icon of our uniform. The brown just fucks it all up.
