Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The biggest thing for us was just forcing the to stay on the same schedule
Unfortunately, the complications my wife had has made twin breast feeding almost impossible. Keeping them in same schedule has caused one to be a bit underweight. So we’ve had to completely change our feeding plans on the fly.

Also, why must every baby bottle have 7 parts that must *individually* each time you use it?

It’s all a racket perpetuated by Big Formula. Never fear, for it does get easier when they start using sippy spouts and you don’t have to assemble/disassemble/wash the vents every damn time.

We hand washed individual bottle parts for awhile, then eventually just got these little cage things that had specific places for specific bottle parts to fit in that snapped shut, and threw them in the dishwasher. To be safe, we’d set our dishwasher to run a sanitize cycle if we also had stuff in there that had had raw meat on it or something. I think they’re called dishwasher baskets or something similar.

Anyways, that cut bottle cleaning time down to basically nothing, and then of course we had bottles preassembled in the cupboards for when we needed them.

As for sterilizing, we did it maybe once a week for the first few months in addition to regular hand washing.

We’ve primarily used Dr. Brown’s bottles.

We looked into those things. Unfortunately, we’re going through 16-20 bottles a day. It’s easier to just run the washer once a day and hit extra dry, then tag team putting them back together.

I was yesterday years old when I learned babies can shit and have it go all the way up their backs.

I also, for newborns pampers >>>>>>>>> Huggies in my experience. At least for little dudes.
We're hooked on Millie Moon diapers.

The blowouts that go all the way up the back are the worst--especially when they're laying on you, it soaks through their clothes and into yours. Instant bath time.

The BabyBrezza formula machine is not cheap, but it is awesome. And it's Prime Day....

Only $177 today. Formula and water sit in the thing separately. You stick a bottle under the spout, machine mixes the right among of water and formula together at the right temperature, and there's your bottle at however many ounces you specific. 30 seconds maybe. Really nice especially for late-night feedings when you're trying to be as quick as possible.

My kid is a year old and just did this the other day. At this stage the biggest culprit is honestly just a wrong size or improperly worn diaper (and this is probably the most likely reason because dressing a toddler is like wrestling in a Royal Rumble).

Glad she was able to go after being constipated the day prior, but damn it must have been like uncorking a champagne bottle :chuckle:

Babies are gross, man.

I get different people have different olfactory systems, but every time someone says “I love how babies smell” I just smile, but in my head I’m like “really?”
My son usually smells like drool.

He's very cute, though!

And they are great for grandparents or whoever is babysitting.

We got one for my stepdaughter's baby shower, and the heater died right about a year in. Fortunately, I checked the warranty, found out it was for 12 months, and we literally were two days before it expired.

Called the company, and they sent us a brand new one.

We have bought them for shower gifts. I even talked a random young couple into buying one at Target.
My wife still slaps her forehead thinking about that one.
